Glad we won, but sure miss the days we didn't have to grind it out against a 14-13 team without their best player.

Florida is terrible. Anybody celebrating last night's win is a f'n moron. This program is far worse off than it was during the Billy Clyde years.

-Rough start to the day. Ate at a church supper last night and my stomach is killing me, not used to eating that type of food anymore I guess. Can’t be good food when you can easily take down 6 raw eggs but fried chicken beans and mash hurt.

Also, who does a church supper that lasts 2.5 hours?

On a U.K. game night? Thought it would be like an hour at most.

-Apologies to the Schloots, I may have gotten bad info about your trainer 🤷‍♂️, and it was partially tongue in cheek but def not my style or place to talk bad about someone I don’t know.

-Why does UlisIzPointGod or whatever type like he’s a 16 year old writing a tweet? Just curious. If I wanted Twitter vibes I’d go there.

-When will the “I Survived Covid“ posts stop, new one today, 🤦‍♂️.

-Weekend begins around noon tomorrow. Sttttokkkkked. Drakes poke and a couple 16 ozs on the way home on tap for sure. BG (😒) Saturday but at least it’s going to be a fun hang.

Never got the appeal of that city/town/etc. it’s literally one strip of chain restaurants that people from Columbia, KY think is awesome… 🤷‍♂️

* I thought this is GYERO where one could hold multiple opinions on the team simultaneously?

- Great win. Take a workman like attitude, keep stacking 'w's' and move on.
- Cal is the ultimate cooler with his brain-dead sub patterns.
- Young guys continue to develop and play through mistakes.
- Shot selection remains a head-scratcher.
- Effort and fight continues to improve.
- Team doesn't know how to play with a lead.
- Defense is Charmin soft.

* The first half showed a perfect duality of what this team is when they hit long jumpers or not. Build a 15 point lead only to see if disappear like my hairline in a matter of minutes.
* Toss up between Livingston's recent ascension and a shortened bench for what may save our season. Since Kansas he's averaged 9.5 & 6 and no longer looks like a fish out of water.

* Bama goes to OT. Cavaliers get run by a garbage BC team. ACC as a whole is down. Outside of the Boilermakers, who've been slipping, nobody in the B1G is intimidating. Would love another shot at the Jayhawks & Bruins...

....it's there to make a run, but FFS, stop stepping on rakes.

* Wallace worries me the most. He's just spent the last ten of each game. Been putting in yeoman's minutes since Wheeler's sidelined and appears no return in sight.

Wouldn't mind Cal stealing a few minutes each half with Adu or Reeves initiating the offense. Can tell he's hitting a wall and we aren't going anywhere in March without him firing.

I like how you Catholics roll.

Fish sandwich and a beer at St. Aloysius to celebrate the start of Lent. Don't know how you guys do it, but I've never had a bad piece of fish from those places.

6 of us went to Waldo's afterwards for the game and have "one or two" beers. Only having a couple during a game sounds like a good plan, but it never happens that way. Caught a nice buzz watching UK win one on the road. Tired this morning.

Got a 6am e-mail from Humana letting everyone know they're exiting the commercial group health insurance space. That means every business in the country with Humana as their carrier will eventually have their plan terminated and have to move to Blue Cross/United/Cigna/Aetna/etc.

They're making so much gd money off the government (Medicare) that this will be completely unnoticed by Wall Street.

Had to look this up for funsies:

Affordable Care Act (passed March 23, 2010)

HUM
March 1, 2010 = $46.05
February 23, 2023 = $503.59

🤣 🤣

-If you want to complain do it about ESPN mixing college men’s/women’s scores on their front page. When did they start that nonsense?

-We won for all those that didn’t watch.

- The card industry has really settled down. Having to grind to sell a bunch of them. Actually, that’s the way I like it.

Looking back there are 5/6 figure cards we sold 1.5 years ago of MJ, Lebron and Kobe that sell for 80-85% less today. It had to be fraudulent PPP loans, stimulus and Covid boredom that pushed all that.

-Full Swing and the Alex Murdaugh docs on Netflix have been good so far.

-Figured I would start following the Columbus Blue Jackets since Chumps enjoys them so much. Only to find out they are dead last in the division and FORTY THREE points out of first. The equivalent of UL basketball, smh.

-Next year my health insurance will be stupid because this is the first year in a decade all my earnings are on paper. Honestly, paying health insurance on a sliding scale depending on your income is really stupid.

Things cost different because you make more or less money? How about doing that with groceries and mortgages/rent too? So stupid and literally only makes people want to cheat the system more.

-Wait a second, you mean people "investing" thousands or millions into baseball cards wasn't a solid, fail proof investment? Well I give up...

I thought that happened a few years back. Obviously, it was inevitable. Know a gal in NKY who is killing the Medicare market.

Carriers in group market dwindling. Less competition. Gonna blame the gubment.

Had a somewhat calm feeling last night, even as we were blowing 6-8 point leads on the regular, that we would win. Team appears to have figured out to a certain degree how to get a stop when absolutely necessary and how to put one of our guys in the best position to score.

Had my first true leg workout in a couple of years this morning. Felt good, wanted to keep going but I also want to be able to walk the next couple of days.

The heat is in the hat... for 40 pts

This weather is phenomenal! Unlike some of you peckersniffers, I like comfortable weather no matter what month it is.

Big government is a cancer, so are political parties

Been eating more eggs lately. Gotten pretty good at omelets, which are far superior to scrambled

Gonna knock out two must-dos and then enjoy this weather while it lasts!

Scrambled are only good for serving a lot of people in a short window. Do nothing for me.
A good western omelets, ooh boy. Love em.
Can't take Jeckyll and Hyde of the team. Turn on, other team goes on a run, turn off. Rather watch Blue Bloods than put myself through watching that.

Scrambled w/Crème fraîche per Gordon Ramsey are pretty effing ethereal > basic ***** omelet.

No more beach. On way home… little man with a nice little ear infection for us to run home to…Cape May is a magical beach spot.

A dozen or so humpback whales have beached up here and it’s being attributed to a wind farm being built a mile off shore. Save the whales, screw your faincy wind machines.

Snagged 3 dozen Middle Neck clams and a quart of chowder secured in cooler as we skipped our way out of town.

I don't dislike scrambled eggs, I just like a well cooked omelet way more. That said, I'm not a huge fan of the creamy scrambled eggs, I prefer mine to be a bit more firm. There is a very fine line between how I like them, and overcooked though.

* We are what we are, although i'm not really sure exactly what that is.

* Starters minutes last night: 39, 38, 35, 39, 38. Lulz.

* Man- anytime Oscar gets pulled away from the basket to defend I just assume the offense is going to get a decent look.

* Is King Cake good? I've had it a number of times. Its just doesnt swing one way or another. Its just fine calories, imo.

* Questions on how play doesnt stop when a fan just casually grabs an opposing player? Tough to track back defensively when a gel-head loser is bear-hugging you.

* I also thought the arc under the basket was intended to protect guys in the air. No sliding underneath to undercut a guy... not to automatically negate all offensive fouls committed inside that area. The gentleman playing in his sunglasses just lowered his head and shoulders and leveled Toppin- which doesn't seem to be within the spirit of the rule, there.

*It's whatever.

Someone master the art of Omurice style Omelet and holla. I'd probably skip the sass, but watching it being sliced open is food porn.

I'm guessing this is a fancy omelette that costs $65? Honest question. I have zero idea what that is. I've never been the type to like something more because it's more elegant or fancier.

Seriously, when people are like "OHHHHHH look at the presentation of the food!!!!" I am thinking yeah it's all going in my belly, wouldn't be any different if you put it in a blender and served it to me. Same with fancy bar drinks. "I'll have the SMOKED Old Fashion!" Friends around go, "Ohhh that DOES sound good and it's super cool to watch them make it!" When I order a drink I don't usually want it to take 4 minutes prep time.

Pour my bourbon/tequila/wine/beer in a drinking device and I'm good. But I'm as basic as it gets, and that's okay. Odd though, because most of my family LOVES that stuff.

-Good King Cake is FIRE!! I could easily eat a whole one.

-Starters plays 95% of the minutes, but the 3-5 they didn't were all at the same time. Why can't he sub 1 or 2 guys at a time rather than a damn line change when we we're f*cking rolling? Then plays the whole team the remainder of the game.

-Fan dbag looked like a drunk accident but still.

-Leg days are the best days.

-I typically just make scrambled because it's so easy and I don't add anything.

-the correct answer is over medium...but eggs in all forms are dope.
I like a nice over medium fried egg myself, do them that way pretty regularly and that's my order at Waffle House.

I also like boiled eggs, egg salad, deviled eggs, and a properly poached egg can exponentially raise the quality of several already good meals.

Eggs are not a zero sum game.

- Been going through a dozen eggs every other day so the addition of air fryer has been a godsend. 18 minutes and you've got hard boiled perfection.

- Would love an up & done breakneck speed game with War Eagle but we don't have the horses. May be the one time I'm content with Cal forcing a slower pace-of-play 😤

- Toppin has been hitting the three ball at a 50%> clip since league play started. Be nice if we tried to incorporate that more in the flow of our offense lol who am I kidding we still just make ish up on the fly, so need to see him take it upon himself more.

- Guns N' Roses coming to Rupp this fall and torn. As much as Axl's voice is shot, ever since Prince died I vowed to check out any popular band from my youth when given the chance. And according to the folks who saw them when we were in Vegas this summer, the rest of the band still has their fastball. Marcus.

Toppin, Conference Only:

12 pts
7 rbs
3 assists
49% FG
53% 3pt

His Season stats are actually virtually the same except for 3pt. He's hit double figures in like 11 straight games, and pretty much gives the same general line & effort every night w/ a standout performance sprinkled in every 3rd or 4th game. Not sure what kind of improvement ya'll were hoping for, but I think everyone but PTI(pti) would agree that's quite a leap.

Not to mention his most valuable asset has been as a secondary ballhandler and playmaker.

80 Proof is like Bubba is with shrimp when it comes to eggs apparently.

- Congrats to Morehead State for winning the OVC for the first time in 30 years or whatever the time frame was they said on KSR. It helps that Murray State and Belmont are no longer in your league. They aren't the worst league but definitely a lot closer than they were before.
