Jack Fry’s is the best restaurant in KY. It just is.

Four Roses 2021 LE being delivered to my door today. Poppin that beyotch when the NY Football Jints slap the birds. Eagle fans are the biggest scumbags on the planet.

David Crosby’s passing hits home. Dude was supremely talented. CSN was Top 5 concerts I’ve ever seen. Stephen Stills is sneaky Top 5 rock guitarists of all-time, don’t doubt me.

My son is loving the UK experience. He’s jazzed with his horticulture / food science class. He’ll be cooking mashbill with Krazy one day.

Little man was breaking boards like Bruce Lee in Tae Kwon Do class - but cuter.

People are now afraid of hurting Wheeler’s feelings? Poor dude.

-as a parent, I understand the trepidation/resistance to crush wheelers dreams...but he knew what expectations were when he came to UK. He ain't NBA...so keep grinding while you're here...play overseas for a bit and head back to Lex and sling insurance/get a bank gig and enjoy your life. Profit.

If you don’t think they are cloning humans you are crazy. Bringing back mammoths lol. I can’t wait to see how that turns out. Feel like there’s already a science fiction movie about that

-Are we saying Wallen is “racist” because he drunkenly dropped an “N” bomb at 2:30a? If that’s true everyone in this thread has prob dropped one at some point in the 80s/90s, deny all you want but we’re not buying.

As Richie or whoever said, it’s easy listening fun country to start off a party with or a couple songs on a boat day. If you don’t like it fine, you listen to music we think is **** too.

Also, if you’re in the market for mid to late 20s/early 30s gal you better at least pretend to like Wallen, it’s basically a deal breaker if you told a gal you thought he sucks.

-This 5 year push or whatever to normalize being morbidly obese is about to push me over the cliff. SI swimsuit models are gross, saying it’s not your fault is gross, okaying kids to have lapband surgery and take meds to be thinner is gross. It’s all gross.

I just can’t wrap my head around it.

-Painting is DONE besides the master bedroom, touch that sucked but saving $2100 is cool.

-Two well-deserved dog dates for my guy this weekend. He’s been Uber patient not having been anywhere but the backyard for 3 weeks.

- You sometimes forget what a talented poster Anth is. What a great set of randoms - none of his usual provocations or attemps to push his worldview on others. Just a technically sound and entertaining random list delivered economically and without pretense.

- Wheeler will be fine. He’s a well-liked teammate but he’s still a young fella. He’ll come around. I know most of you were mature and completely at ease at 22. Some of us weren’t. God bless.

- As I’ve mentioned, the Bills are one of those random fanbases with whom I am for some odd reason very familiar. Good people. Now, I find the Bills Mafia completely annoying, as well as their self-back-patting for their various charity endeavors. Yeah I understand the ends/means stuff but I always find smug charitable giving off putting. “Look how great we are for donating to Andy Dalton’s foundation! We’re not just Rust Belt drunks who post stupid table-breaking videos!” F off

NBA game randoms:

- Kyrie Irving is a complete dipshit who coasted through three quarters last night, but - good God - he decided to play in the 4th and absolutely couldn’t be guarded. It was incredible.

- Seeing a game in person just makes you realize how good those dudes are - even the role players. Wanna know how a guy like Joe Harris stays in the league? He doesn’t miss open shots. Any of them.

- I can count on one hand the number of times the shot clock got close to zero. Shots were hunted early and often. Great spacing, constant movement - highly entertaining.

- Phoenix fans LOVE Cameron Johnson.

- Beers were $16.

- The music literally never stopped. And it was 90% bass.

- The Gorilla met all expectations.

- The dance team had four dudes. Didn’t care for it.

-My wife is in Phoenix as well right now....WTF?
-Snuck in a windy round at Champions yesterday. Cold as a well diggers you know what today.
-I've got Bills, Chiefs, Eagles and Cowboys this weekend.
-Hamlin's injury guarantees Bills in SP. A win, not sure.
-Levi's in the first round? Let's hope that team has an O line.
-UK comes back to earth tomorrow? Wheeler playing time will be the deciding factor.

I've never met a Mastodon user in the wild. Did you get upset and leave Twitter when Elon bought it wcc?

Does anyone have one of those walking treadmills under their standing desk? Best brand? I want to be able to jog on it if weather requires me to be inside (so 6-7mph), but mostly use it for all the desk paperwork I’m doing these days. Anth would like one that has the capability to go on a steep incline but I’m not sure the walking pad type things do that.

I think drxman has a really nice treadmill he doesn't use, but he'd have to find somewhere to put all that dust it's been holding up the past 6 years.

San Antonio Work Trip Journal:

* The town sucks. Period. Don't go.

The downtown is some mutated mix of The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad set pieces, all with an outdated, drab late 80's Tex-Mex flair.

* Stayed at a pretty nice hotel on the River Walk and most of the surrounding night spots make The Dog in Richmond look and feel high-end. Scenery was underwhelming, especially when judged on a perceived Texas scale too.

* Was awoken at 1am today from a Delta notification that my 5am flight is already delayed 4 hours. After piecemealing a way home, arrived to a different plane that also required repairs before we could depart

But I'm sure these concerned CEO's who have seen countless nightmare customer scenarios the past two years will get their fleets updated and software fixed as soon as they need to pad their boards golden parachutes we bail them out of the next crash.

* Topo Chico is basically their drinking water, so that was a plus.

* Missed the Georgia game but exited to see if we found our switch, Over The Top style with Wallace behind the wheel tomorrow. Would also bet good money Wheeler takes the lessened role like a man, plays heady ball and gives us a viable counterpunch when he gets his run.

* On the cusp of a Top 5 sports weekend on the calendar. If tomorrow was starting off with Kansas instead of A&M, would be straight sports porn.

* Don't ever, ever, ever, under any circumstances, travel to San Antonio unless contractually or legally obligated.

You want a good drinking vessel for bourbon? Try the Viski glass. I prefer this to a Glencairn. Currently enjoying.
