I hope Orlando over thinks Banchero and leaves him for OKC. If they do and OKC can pick another solid post contributor at 12 our boy SGA should be getting to the playoffs again.

RE: Orlando Magic
Used to love them with Shaq/Penny as a kid. But they are so inept when they finish this first round they will have 12 first round picks on their roster and still not even be a playoff contender.

Not sure who this Keegan Murray from Iowa is but he is considered a top 6/7 player in this draft.

If there ever was an era Chet can come in and be a player it’s this one. No true big dudes are going back to the basket and backing him down, and he will not be a defensive liability on switches. Offensively the kid can play so barring injury we are not looking at Bowie, Bradley, Milicic etc here.

~Smith or Banchero....flip a coin depending on your needs, although I feel Smith has a bigger immediate impact (depending on the team) Only avg. 28 mpg and often too unselfish. Numbers could/should have been much better. Better J than Banchero.

Chet...given the defense that was played in the two semi's and finals of the NBA....he would have struggled mightily. Worthy of a top 5 pick or better...yes, but one has to think growth vs. immediate contributions w/ him.

Sharpe...who is he? Can he hit a 20' off the bounce or w/ a hand in his face? Can he absorb a hit from Smart? A lot of questions. A lot.

NBA is all about fit (see the most comfortable and confident Wiggins for an example, and how Tatum has matured) How they mesh is as important as their talent.

~Top 5 never change the channel when you find it...
Con Air
Green Mile
Road House
Shawhank
Godfather 1 and 2

~Kyle Berkshire is a freak. Subway should be all over him w/ their ads.

~First day of summer and the temps are simply glorious.

That sneaky hot Hollywood actress

Sharpe sucks and sounds like a giant goon in his interviews

I would trade it still being light out at 9:15 PM to get some more sunlight in the winter. I’ll go with 8:15 and add an hour of sun to the winter. Who can set that up? Krazy?

Daughter is finishing up t-ball and starting soccer next week. Thank god. I hope I’m done with that sport. Very cute though.

On my way to get my haircut with my smoking hot hairdresser. The highlight of my month.

Not even close. Do you not remember Durant in college? 26 ppg vs. Chet's 14.

Do you know what skilled means?

This has nothing to do with PPG. Chet walked in to an already top 5 team and wasn't asked to carry the load the way Durant was. Completely different situations.

Again, stop.

NOBODY IS COMPARING CHET TO DURANT, or especially their games. Good grief.

College PPG, lol. Ok, now do Michael Beasley.

Same people still dogging Chet said the EXACT same thing before THIS season, and after about a week, laughed and laughed and laughed about those who still dared put Chet above Banchero.

Well, he's above him on every single NBA Team board, and was an All American (above Banchero)

This has been going on for like 4 years now. He obviously needs to get stronger, and injury will always be a concern, but anyone still not "sold" is a special type of stubborn (and basketball ignorant)

Who knows who turns out the best, but he's been scouted endlessly, has faced everyone, and is still right there at/near the very top. He's an elite & entirely unique prospect, period.

My only concern in the Top 3 is getting SGA back into the ESPN hype machine and the playoffs.

Banchero/Duran or Marc Williams is better than Chet/Tari Eason as a combo I think.

With SGA, Giddey and Dort all OKC needs immediately is PF/C in some fashion.

Maybe Vern is right about Chet #2, but I hope not.

Helen Hunt isn’t bad looking but I don’t think she’s hot.

Now, Paxton’s new lady in Twister is hot. 🔥

He's fine. He'll contribute, probably start. I don't think he'll be an All Star but it's possible.

A recent SI article does compare him to Durant, repeatedly calls him The Unicorn (🤢), and suggests that he's the future of basketball (I think that's even the title of the article). I simply stated that he's no Durant and I'm not buying that hype. It's not even an outlandish take, but Geese seems hell-bent on arguing with it.

I'm not worried about a defined position for him. He has crazy skills that need more development. OKC is one of the best in the league at developing players. I'm sure they'll find a spot for him.

Chet looks like a goofy white stiff but he's a badass. And I may be old fashioned but I prefer prospects who play for their country and college teams, so he's got that going for him.

Kooky Kats is getting dangerously close to being the Fran Drescher of GYERO if he keeps this stupid **** up.

Outside the consensus top four (I think Ivey will be fine...not All-Star level but eventual starter), I think Duren might actually be the best player to come out of this draft. I know he was up-and-down at Memphis, but that team was a mess and he was a reclass. He'll only get better as he gets more stable, concentrated coaching and can focus squarely on his craft.

He has a better motor than Wiseman ever did, and apparently is shooting reasonably well from long range now. I can see him being a strong rotation player for a long time, and maybe even All-Star level down the road.

I agree. I know centers are out of style but this dude is a freak athlete, built like a brick *********, has a 7’5” wingspan, and decent potential as a shooter/playmaker.

This is correct , but for those who grew up with her on afterschool specials, and 2 of the 3 stations were playing Phil Donahue or the news, she was our first crush, or Kim Richards from Escape to Witch Mountain. Not a lot of options.
