Watching Better Off Dead with my 16yo. Gotta say this is one of those father son moments that is off the charts.
Wheeler averages more shots than Grady per 40.
He simply doesn’t see the ball as much as Washington and Wheeler. Wheeler in particular has to be the primary ball handler on the court because he brings nothing off the ball. Grady’s production, as we are currently oriented in terms of tactical paradigm and personnel, is dependent upon others to set him up for shots

- Toppin/Mintz/TyTy/O/Wheeler is the best lineup. Swiss Army Knife combo of unselfish offense and defensive speed. Especially if Grady only shoots 4x a game.
- Scottie Pippen and Jerry Stackhouse are easily in the Pantheon of ugliest basketball players ever. Glad we don’t have to endure more ESPN cutaways of their mugs.
- In my era of UK hoops : Mash 1, Oscar 2… if we are fortunate to get another year of Oscar, that may change my order.
- Cal not screaming as much = best Cal. More upperclassmen with BBIQ is exactly what Cal & this fanbase needed after last years bloody stool. Joy.
- Vandy has pieces. They would’ve benefitted if SPJ didn’t attempt one shot and didn’t incessantly drive to the baseline every trip. Too bad for them.
- Went to concert last night and it was awesome. Kind of a funk, disco, gospel & Soul revival… you know singer has pipes when songs get multiple standing ovations. Crowd was eclectic bunch of pot smoking hipsters, grandma hippies and folks that dig gospel.
- Whilst baby sitting his 8 year old brother, my high school senior decided it was a good idea to invite 10 kids over for a drink. Little guy ratted him out. We came home to a couple stragglers who didn’t look like they were going to puke… so, whatevs. Have to do a bourbon inventory eval before I totally let him off the hook.
- City is still a ********. Sad.
Vandy doesn't have pieces... they are trash with a trash head coach. Jordan Wright was 2 for his last 16 from 3 (31% for the year) and suddenly becomes Klay Thompson. Pippen shoots them out of games way more than he has won them anything. We played sloppy for 35 minutes and had multiple stretches where we couldn't function on offense without taking a terrible shot or turning it over. Game should have been over in the first 20 minutes.
I cracked up at that tech on Stackhouse. Not sure on if it was a SC violation but someone on that court blew a whistle that should have stopped play there. Pretty typical officiating shitshow by Shows and Adams down the stretch.

If vandy was healthy all year they are a tournament team. Turned into a different squad once they got healthy. Too bad For them pippen is gone and they probably aren’t replacing that production for next year
It’s amazing- flipped over to Duke last night and Bilas is still shilling for Duke as a one seed. Same from Rece Davis. These SOBs have no shame.

I know I'll always get **** for my non-IU hate, and rightfully so, but there isn't another team I would rather see in the 2nd round. We would handle them with ease. Memphis is on the flip side of that. We will be paired with one of the two for a possible 2nd round matchup, no doubt.
Didn’t Bobby Knight once invent an overseas recruit (M Globally) - and had the recruiting services creating profiles on the non existent kid - rating him as a 4-5 * player —

My hate for IU disappeared when Bob Knight left. Mike Davis I don’t think ever beat us and it became pitiful watching him struggle against us. Then whatever happened after that, and I can’t muster any issues with them.
I hope the same thing happens to Duke once the founder of the program is gone.
UL is almost damn near the most meh feeling I’ve ever had toward them too.
But the SEC, with all these coaches and players we are bringing in has reached new heights that only remember as a kid. UT has reached Allan Houston level, Arkansas has reached Todd Day/Corliss Williamson level, Bama is equal to Spreewell/Horry, and LSU is Dale Brown level………all at once for me!

Every UK fan on the planet loved the Pitino teams that drew charges, especially the early teams. Looking at you Feldhaus, Pelphrey, Farmer, etc.

I think we're both dealing in anecdotal evidence, but my experience is much different. I've been to numerous bars in the deep south during UK games. The crowd is always anti-UK in that setting. Your scenario, isn't reality. Bet dollars to donuts those people you meet are rooting against us when you're not around.
