If Brooks could just be a reasonable three point shooter, this team would be elite.
My biggest concern is that the FT Line is a complete non factor for this team.
Has been a lifeline for a decade for our teams in “grind out” games.
I’m all for 3s, but we can’t JUST be a jump shooting team…Bc frankly, we aren’t a very good one (so far).

This is exactly how I feel. Grady drives right off the bat and gets a bucket. Then he drives once more the whole half. He should be doing that every possession. He should live at the foul line. Grady and TyTy need to average 10-15 FT attempts a game between them.
He gets the step continuously from the wing with defenders overplaying the 3 attempt and then stops or dishes back out top with a lane on easy pull up right there. All season

I remember in the postgame of one of our early games we shot it really well. Cal looked down at the box score and saw we hit like 11 threes. His face looked like he was looking at his parents have sex. New right there in his mind he was like…”nope I’m shutting the ish down right now”
