Surgery tomorrow morning for a Jones (no Matt) fracture. Same thing Derrick Henry has. Stepped on a rock or a limb hidden underneath some leaves whilst running last Thursday, completely rolled ankle over, and broke two bones in my foot. One of the breaks necessitates a screw being inserted. :(

Dispatches...

- College basketball should be starting today.
Yep. In 93, because I had Knicks quasi-season tix, I had access to the pre-season NIT. Nabbed 4 right behind one of the baskets and watched Marcus Camby take down NC at MSG. Buddy was running the baseline, acting like an idiot, ramping the crowd up, rooting UMASS on. Place went nuts. Good times. That's a way to start a season.

I’m not gonna lie and pretend it doesn’t suck watching some of these teams knowing #9 100% isn’t happening this year

Must have missed the memo that we're not winning #9 this year. We're four games into the season and this team has tons of room for improvement. Collins and Hopkins haven't even begun to show what they can do yet, TyTy is progressing nicely, Grady is a natural-born scorer, Oscar is a monster who has not yet peaked, and Wheeler is the Energizer Bunny on both ends. Lots of nice role players after that also.

Has any lass ever actually decided where she wanted said picture before hassling her beau?
Valid point. FTR I just stood to the side and giggled as said beau got more and more irritated since I knew this would happen. I wasn't about to challenge the ****** mood since I've been wanting to hang said items for months lol.

@legalbeagle123, hate to hear that. good luck under the knife and with recovery.

In a weird way, I get a bit of a 2011 vibe from this team.

Really not a fan of Vegas becoming the place for all the marquee non-conference basketball games. #1 and #2 play each other tomorrow night and it feels like it's largely being swept to the side because it's at 10 PM tip on a Tuesday. Duke / Gonzaga is a little better because it's Black Friday but a 10:30 tip still sucks.

- If you guys could see the photo-matched computer models I cook up I order to hang photos in perfect alignment and proportion using the golden ratio as a guide to establish layout, shew. (The lass’s only job is to keep the kids’ eyes away from various laser beams during the ordeal).

- I got an invite to the game tonight, but alas, I have LEGO Robotics coaching tonight. As I say to the kids when I break apart their models, “Dems da breaks, kid.”

- These hip hopping zoomers catch a lot of flack for the sneaker culture, but they’d go toe to toe *pun intended* with some of these construction dudes and their boots culture.

STREAMBALLS….

I have the ESPN app to stream and get access to watch live games since I have ESPN through my U-Verse subscription but need to subscribe to ESPN + to get the game right?

Also, it appears that you can’t record/DVR via ESPN+, another reason streaming only sans cable is dogshit for sports fans.
Oh... after all those mock posts, now you want help?

Just turn on your 350 per month coaxle cable subscription and see what happens. Maybe call customer service on your package included landline telephone to get help.

Make sure to clear out any old episodes of NCIS and 60 minutes so there's enough room for the games!

I pay 115.00 per month for high speed AT&T Fiber and U-Verse cable with 3 HD boxes including any HBO and any sports channel imaginable. I also get unlimited data on my cell phone package and HBO Max.

The added gravy is bc I’m a cable subscriber and I can access any channel on my U-Verse package on any device anywhere if I want to stream. This is what I do for my Roku tv outside.

Also, as a grown 42 year old man there’s value in coming home, pressing one button, easily finding the game of my choice, pausing and or recording said game if need be or switching over to another game on another channel without having to jump out of one app and into another.

You may be able to watch the game without ESPN+ with all the stuff you said you had...but if not order ESPN+ for $4.99...watch the two UK games and cancel.

Look man, your little super duper cool setup simply isn't ****. May have been when it was $25, but not anymore.

At least it makes you weirdos feel some hilarious sense of superiority, despite having an overall inferior setup. Too funny.

I pay $177.75 per month for Fiber Internet + Cable TV (loaded) + Cell Phone unlimited (which includes the actual phone & standard 2 year upgrade)

If you'd like to wager, please name it here in GYERO, and I'll email you my bill & Venmo for my payment...right now. Let's keep it 5K max bet so that my account doesn't get flagged or whatever like Krazykats

Don't know what I pay for Xfinity and all the sports streaming subscriptions you need these days. Auto-pay FTW.

Also, don't know the last time I gave a **** about saving ~$25/mo. I'm not saying frivilous spending is the way to go, but good grief.

I believe you BBdK because that's right at what I'd pay if I was only paying for 1 cell phone. Lexington doesn't have Uverse though so you can't bundle everything under ATT.

Looks like they're phasing out Uverse for everyone before long though.

If it weren't for rivalry nerves and our defensive struggles the last few weeks, I'd be pretty confident this game will look very similar to UL's matchup with Ole Miss. They don't have the horses. Contain MALIK, hold on to the damn football, profit.

You are coaching Leggo robotics? I think you would be less gay if you just put a dick in your mouth.
Maybe so.

But, in comparison to that time you told GYERO that were despartedly interested in getting SAE to cornhole you - how gay does it seem then?

(Are we all still just all pretending the guy who measures everything against as a scale of homosexuality isn’t a deeply closeted gay man in some paradoxically effete Louisville enclave???)

Maybe stay away from ladders and stick a pogo stick up your *** to get on the roof of your slum fiefdom next time. It’ll probably feel more natural (enjoyable to you) and be safer in the end. *pun intended*

joey - are you a manufacturing or electronic engineer maybe ?

we always had engineers volunteering to support the leggo/robot wars / STEM outreach from Parker /Raytheon and others -

has anyone’s wife ever tried to Distract you with the pictures to be hung — and then subbed in a teenager....so she could attempt to smuggle a bootleg/unauthorized monkey ?

also - decorating for the holiday season has somehow gotten complex and treacherous - like navigating some crater -pitted world war one battlefield.....

i’m hosting thanksgiving for the first time ever this year too —

i reserve the right to ROOFiE my wife if she starts to approach “The Downtrodden Mournful Martyr” mode —- i just refuse to stand for that petty-assed first world problem passive aggressive READMYMINDMAN!! lady-glitching grandstanding mess

my niece is bringing her boyfriend who she only described as having “Anxiety Issues”

it probably just means he has a script for xanax or something BUT IF HE WALKS IN HERE ALL AFFLICTED AND PETTY — I’ll roofie his nervous ANXIOUS punk *** too
