Feeling surly this am and my list of stuff I don’t GAF about is growing exponentially
- Fire Joel. Yesterday.
- Bring back Bullet Head as your ace recruiter and confidant that will challenge you.
- Bring back Brooks, Boston, Toppin and Mintz.
- Powell becomes Cat.
- Get one more high level transfer
- Get rid of these off brand uniforms.Trivial but it would resemble a clean slate with the fans.
- Serve frosties in Rupp.
- GYERO Convention at the Champions Classic in Chicago to announce the Wildcat Reckoning Tour. WWH buying drinks, Wodie rapping, Anth bitching about his steak the night before... The works.

Its been a tough year for sure but imagine being a contrarian goof with the self awareness of a ham sandwich living in a state that binds us to our passion choosing to cheer for UNC.

No matter what happens next year, even if we go 40-0 and win every single game by 20+, every single one of us who posted negative, Calipari-hating, redass commentary here over the past few months will remain completely vindicated. It was deserved. Totally warranted. No apologies.
* Speaking of which....reading everyone post "we just need X, Y, and Z back and let's ball!!" should be a great reminder of how close we are to contending, and how the line between "worst UK team ever" and "potentially hanging #9" is razor thin. I mean, we basically just need 1 more great transfer and our guys who played like *** to return. That's really not much to ask.
* I know everything and everyone is being canceled, but I just re-watched Pulp Fiction for the 900th time ever this weekend.

- up close shots of intravenous drug usage

I don't love the checkerboard ****. I'd much prefer the classic look. I just don't care about unis as much as some of you guys do, as long as the players like them. But I don't think the players like these, either.

This transition from "fire Cal" to "Cal's going to figure it out" is nuts. These guys went 9-16. This wasn't a situation where someone got hurt and we went 16-12 and barely missed the tournament. This is a Tim Lincecum losing his stuff and posting a 5.18 ERA a couple years after going back-to-back on the Cy Young award situation. Cal. Is. Finished.
Wouldn't hurt my feelings if he quit tomorrow but that's just not going to happen. He's damn sure not getting fired. So might as well see what we can do.
Also, it's nothing like Lincecum.
With some improvement from our returnees and some early season cupcakes I can see us rounding into form as a 5 seed come next March
I hope I'm wrong... but I don't see the talent coming in and it's not like Cal is ever going to improve his offense. Perfect example: the last 5 minutes of the Miss St game in the SEC tournament was a freaking re-run of the end of the 2015 Wisconsin game. This old bastard just doesn't know how to coach, but now he's not getting top talent.
Bayless would say that Cal has never been good. I thought Cal was great until about February 2015.

I don’t see the talent even with improvement to contend. Naturally we will be better than 9-16 next year but without a complete stud coming in it’s looking like another ten loss team next year

Collins is and big hoss transfer from WVU appear to not have any talent. Mintz, Toppin, and Brooks won’t improve. Neither would a sophomore Boston.
I mean, if this team had Cade Cunningham, and not playing askew, where could we have been...
Word is the new OC/QB coach isn't fully enamored. Worried about throwing motion and poor showing against good competition in the state playoffs.
As disappointing as he was, getting Boston to return is crucial. 15 pounds of muscle, losing the urgency of being a OAD, and getting rid of some bad habits in the off-season would transform that kid. We need a wing playmaker.
Boston isn’t coming back. Realistically we should have:
Askew
Allen
Mintz
Toppin
Brooks
Ware
come back. That’s at least a solid core to build some continuity. I expect Sarr, Jackson, Clarke, and Boston to leave. We need a good transfer PG and that’s at least a solid team to transition out of heavy one and done. It’s not gonna turn around overnight it’ll take a couple years to get back as a contender IMO

I think the validity is the fact that Cal won't be telling Boston he has leave for the NBA and won't have a scholarship like he has in the past with other first rounders..
The freshman stats between Bogans and Boston look very similar. And Bogans was actually rated higher.
