No quick fixes on the horizon either. We could be entering a very dark period in Kentucky Basketball.
I mean why give Mintz a look. He was just 4-6 3pt. Let’s go to the other guy who has been rotten *** all game.
Insert worn out joke about these guys developing nicely into second and third year players here.
It's already over. Guys will start to transfer or opt out. If we can't make the tournament the guys who think they're one and dones will just call it a year.
Looking forward to the Kentucky MBB insta account showing me some cool photoshops when these ******* sign 10 day contracts in November 2021.
At least Cal just had fun coaching today without all the attitudes.
WTF has happened to this *******??

Cannot say I disagree.
Cal you found out Toppin was your best player or in top 3 today. You have to let guys have minutes.
He’s been atrocious, allowing players to play through mistakes and giving them enough minutes to see if they can produce. Often times it’s a last resort that Cal finds out a guy can help a team. Or an injury that forces a player to play.

Oh...forgot #LaFamilia
I think i'm also done for the year. Time for Cal to remember how to build an actual program.

Louisville-UK and clearly the best players were mid major transfers.
I think we need to cancel college basketball.
Yeah sure because of COVID whatever

“I enjoyed coaching today not worrying about people complaining about playing time”
“I thought about putting Allen in a couple times and wish I did”
“We thought our stars were stars but they’re really not”
“The season isn’t over yet, we haven’t even played a league game yet, and true fans haven’t given up yet”
“I should slap myself for this schedule”
suffice?
Cal said he wants the "true fans" to keep cheering them on. So now if we're not thankful for the **** sandwich we're not real fans.
On the schedule: Cal is trying to create a narrative that we ran through a gauntlet of great teams. It's ********. This is a perfectly manageable schedule for a good team.

Yeah, because Richmond, Georgia Tech, and a middling UNC team plus Kansas are such a hard schedule. Glad we got a coach that wants to run from the best and not be or beat the best.
Oh yea I forgot about 1927.
I was thinking of that first Sutton team. I think they were 13-19

That was the last Sutton team in 88-89, and that team would wax this group of misfits.
You know who’s had a tough pre-conference schedule? Gonzaga.
Save 1 guy per year we’ve been doing that for the last 4 years.
They just keep leaving anyway.
Cal thought about putting Allen in a couple times but changed his mind.
Like the saying goes: “The thousand mile journey begins with the first thought about it.”
Or Something.
Cal, this team and 2020 can eat all the bags of dicks on their way out.
I actually have no faith whatsoever in Dontaie Allen, and it's thru no fault of his own. It's because Calipari hates 3 pointers and has no clue how to utilize a player with that singular skill set.
On that same note, here's a nice article on SI.com about 6-foot-7 big white stiff Duncan Robinson....
Duncan Robinson's hot shooting lifts Heat over Pelicans - Sports Illustrated
- played a year in Division 3
- transferred to Michigan and only started about 1/3 of his games there
- averaged < 10 points a game for his career
- went undrafted
And yet now he's one of the most dangerous weapons in the NBA for the Finals runner-up. It's amazing how a coach can play to a guy's strengths. What a concept.

**** John Vincent Calipari.
HAT, EMA.
Real bold to accept responsibility for scheduling Louisville and the Champions Classic. Totally new games for 2020!!!

Can any basketball Benny point out to me a possession today where our half court offense “worked”? I mean, we scored some but Jacob Toppin fade away 15 footers can’t be the desired result.
I think Allen will finally get some minutes, struggle to find open looks in our wack *** offense, get beat on defense and on the boards, and then Cal will throw some "I told you so" bs at us in his very next interview.
Watching Gonzaga bury Virginia. It’s not like they shoot a billion threes to score as much as they do. They just don’t screw around. Everything they do offensively has a purpose.
