Friday Five... Flipped past BackspinXM in the car today and went down an 80s hip-hop rabbit hole. Don't do it a whole lot anymore but enjoy it when I do.

* Nobody Beats The Biz - Biz Markie
* Top Billin' - Audio Two
* Five Minutes of Funk - Whodini
* Sally - Stetsasonic
* Criminal Minded - BDP

Randoms...

* My God, make the political ads stop. Serenity now for five more days.

* First ep of Season 2 The Mandalorian... 5-star

* Check out Letterman's Netfix Q&A show, his new interview with Chappelle. So good.

* Finished Long Way Around and Long Way Down on Apple TV. Starting Long Way Up now. I've never been a motorcycle guy, but it makes me want to go adventure.

* Finding it hard to get excited for UK Football tomorrow. Used to love when a UGA would come to town with great tailgating, a packed house, two bands playing back and forth, etc., etc. It's just weird in 2020.

I think Leann Rimes is brave, beautiful, and inspirational.

In fact, as a sign of solidarity, the next time I take a huge greasy s*** I’m gonna rub it all over my body and upload a whole Instagram story just to raise awareness for Crohn’s Disease. Just because.

Its called courage. Maybe I’ll even win the Arthur Ashe award at the ESPYs next year.

I suggest you eat some of it, too.

I have a feeling we play a really good game tomorrow. Not seeing a win, but maybe just close enough that we get a really great afternoon of incendiary redass here on the catpaw.

Great afternoon and evening of beer drinking. Started off at the pumpkin patch with some Dogfish 120. Followed it up with Bell’s Expedition Stout, Founders KBS, Founders Underground Brown, and some Three Floyd’s chocolatey stuff with a name I can’t remember. Little doja mixed in as need be.

Really weird experience on the grill tonight. Ribeyes just would not come up to temp. Ended up charring the surface a bit. Was working with a vortex and a full chimney - usually that’s only a four minute affair. Maybe I was just drunk. Who knows. But, nothing pisses me off more than not making a really good piece of meat great.

Only eat candy in its original packaging, folks. There are freaks out there who have been known to lace their Superbubble with MDMA.

Well, putting a bunch of fraudulent entries on the petition to get it on the ballot kind of violates the democratic process.
Eat a dick Wayne.

Lol. So the people who are going to pay for it, getting to vote on it isn't democratic. But the mafia called the teachers union getting to pass any tax they want is democracy.
Looks like another sheep got bamboozled down at the union hall.

* It takes a set of stones to try to raise property taxes while schools are closed and teachers are getting paid. I'll give JCPS that.

Louisville (and Kentucky for that matter) better be careful to not get on the bad side of a power curve like California where citizens with money flee over-taxed, over-regulated places when there is increasingly less reason to stay in one place if it sucks.

* There's no chance we beat Georgia. We historically play them closer than you'd think but it ain't happening this year. I just hope to see our offense do anything and for no injuries.

* With Halloween and scuttlebutt about new lockdowns, etc., there is a weird feeling in the air. It is a blue moon today and crazy tends to crazy during a full moon. Hopefully nothing stupid happens.

Purely depends on what kind of shape you’re in physically and mentally. I know 65 year olds in 10x worse shape than a friend of mine who is 87.

Many things I “get” about social media. Bragging on your kids, humble bragging on yourself and debating politics (not my thing but I understand that there are some that just can’t help themselves). But the need for an “I voted” selfie just has me scratching my head.

Anyway Dogs 23, Cayts 10. I think the D plays well, I also think we go ultra conservative with the offense.

My PeePaw lived just shy of a hundred. And his quality of life was great until the absolute very end when Cancer finally got him. Could find him at 90 not wearing a shirt and roto-tilling his garden in the July heat.

F conservative today, let Gatewood rip it. Let him make some mistakes. Let him make some plays. Let him do his thing. There is a reason he was so highly touted. The kid can play.

Sounds great and looks cool when you read it on a message board, but our best shot at winning is to stick to boring *** Mark Stoops football. Win the time of possession, run the ball, play great D, etc, etc.
