Surprising: A woman married a guy who does
We once rescued a Great Blue Heron that was shot out of the sky by some redneck, saw it go down while I was rabbit hunting with my dad (I was 12).
Took it to the vet and patched up the wing, kept it in the extra bathroom and fed it gold fish every day. It actually became pretty tame.
Then one day my mother had some friends over to play cards and one of her friends ignored the out of order sign on the bathroom door (of course my mother didn’t bother to tell them a 4 foot tall wild bird was in our house). You can see where that went.
Harry the Heron was banished to our garage and I wish I could tell you it was a happy ending, I wish I could tell you that...but our golden retriever killed it while I was at school.
Oh well, “A” for attempted Heron rescue I suppose.

To be honest, we could probably put Harry the Heron under center this weekend, and the results would be about the same. But color me as optimistic about the start of the Gatewood era.

I'm like SAE, TW forever gets respect for what he accomplished here but it's time to play for upside, he just doesn't have much.

For the first time I think this will push Gran out because his strategy is the problem.
Make no mistake, overall Terry wasn’t great, good or even average, but if you expect this kid to be some kind of savior against UGA, UF, USC, Bama and Vandy then I feel bad for you.
Hopefully he can get some valuable experience and read a defense without getting killed.
If he wins his second, and I think he will, I’ll fight all comers in defending him Forevermore. That’s really all that’s left John, separate yourself from Joe, Tubby and Rick in terms of titles.

I vowed to keep my mouth shut (negative comments), re: UK football, a couple of weeks ago. And I'm sticking to it.
I think that Gatewood gives us a better chance, for the rest of the season. How much better, who knows? A lot of folks on here said it seemed obvious that Terry TD had lost the 'goods'
I don't think Georgia is going to provide a true measure re: Gatewood, but hopefully Stoops will calm TF down, and stick with him for at least a few games straight. I mean, WHY NOT?

If the rest of the team shows up and plays inspired football I think he can be more than serviceable. However, if we get an encore of the Mizzou game he’ll look much worse than he probably is. It’s really up to his teammates IMO.

Savior or not, eff it. The change had to happen. If Beau Allen is as accurate as advertised. I think he may be our best option for true change.
Sadly, I think the game plan doesn’t change, and that is the bigger issue.
But if it makes them call a 70/30 running game plan now I’m all for it. Bonus points if Gatewood can see a TE.
Trevor Lawrence lobbied hard to save the football season, and now he’s tested positive for COVID. It’s effectively a DEATH SENTENCE, not to mention murdering countless other players, staff, fans, etc.
