Thank goodness you heathens stayed away from Paducah and our pristine First Baptist Church.
Yeahhhhhh...you know we booked this thing before the schedule was out. I knew that was a possibility but she just couldn’t wait another week...and in taking the knee before New Years, got to file jointly, so it saved me some $$$.

I grew up Catholic, but went to the Presbyterian church for youth group, went to VBS with my baptist buddy, did some visits with the Methodist. I had a well rounded Christian upbringing.
I still roll with St Peter and the OG church though. Protestants are just too inconsistent for me.
We did full Catholic Mass for our wedding too, which was properly followed up with a multi keg throwdown complete with full buffet.
Nothing is more ridiculous than a Greek Orthodox Wedding though. My uncle married in, ceremony was 3 hours long. Afterward I was told it is usually an all day ceremony
Food was awesome as a consolation prize.
Willys wedding was cool, but I don't remember the church. Probably too distracted by the funny hats, breaking wine glasses, and carrying him around in a chair.
Another great day of working at the farm. As I was pulling through the gate right before I lose cell reception, I got a notice that the grand jury results were ready to be announced. Spent the few hours not caring.
Hooked up a pair of Danner hiking boots to replace my Merrells that were starting to leak. They cost more, but so far worth it.
Next week is camping trip with the rascal. Cant wait.

Went to my best friends all black church as a teenager. Man you talk about making church fun. I was ready to pull up a chair and hang out all day. Grew up going to Churchmans Chapel located in the old Iroquois projects. The pastor ended up running off with the band director. His son later killed someone in Florida and got a life sentence.
