. I’m telling you, having the country closed is not gonna sit well with people for long. I think we have until Memorial Day until people start saying F it and begin living their lives again. Right or wrong. Jmo.

Without significant movement I don't see it making it that far. People have their sites on May 1. Hopefully, we're all able to add a few things back in by then. Just get most of us back to regular work, a couple sports, the opportunity to buy a cold draft domesto and we'll probably do just about anything else requested.

Yeah I think most people are coming to grips with the fact there’s not gonna be a national all clear and everything goes back to normal all at once.

Haircut and dinner rezzies are gonna be ridiculous tho

Breaking Bad is my favorite show of all time, but I recognize The Sopranos as being the greatest. It aired first and paved the way for future TV shows.

More than halfway through Season 6 on my 2nd watching of The Sopranos, and it's clearly a different experience. The first time through you take it more seriously and view it more as a drama. The second time through you realize it's as much (or more so) a comedy than a drama. Phil lamenting how his grandfather changed the family name from Leonardo to Leotardo "because they were stupid, that's why" on last night's viewing was priceless.

Another episode of The Tiger King coming? Yes, please.

Michigan State wins Lunardi's bracket simulation/fantasy tweetcast over FSU. UK and Gonzaga rounded out his Final Four. Better than the **** Jerry Palm and the rest of CBS Sports came up with.

Thawed out and fried up some striper from last summer. Still delicious. Prefer the beer batter.

Need my lake life with a quickness.

On one hand, our local projections came down significantly for deaths, ICU needs, vent needs, etc; and we're tentatively, optimistically looking at a potential restart elective surgical cases May 11th.

On the other hand, the city/state doesn't want to get caught with its pants down again, so they're working on logistics of opening up the Music City Convention Center as a 1600 bed COVID low acuity unit/hospital...

Hoping for the former, and praying the latter isn't necessary.

Yeah, and the IMHE took all that into account -- even the **** shows.

I mean, this is the data as of today.

It's encouraging. That's all.

I mean, a month ago the official projection was ZERO, so let’s not act like these wild variations are anything new or proprietary.

Proprietary? [sick]God, STFU.

The US Government strongly considered University of Washington's projections and models as they've made a lot of these policies and recommendations to the general public. Their work is highly influential.

I think everyone can agree this **** is fluid and there's no playbook for these kind of decisions as it relates to global health and economic impact throughout the world. But the current data that reflects these previous projections are encouraging -- for ALL of us, bucko.

I think the real question needs to be, "Why are you so effing awful 100% of the time?". Grief.

Totally agree.

But it’s also easy to look at those stats from afar.

When you have people you know on a personal level who don’t have enough supplies, drugs, vents, and personnel to take care of the patients they currently have, much less what’s expected over the next few weeks...it’s not exactly reassuring or encouraging.

Anyway...this all blows goats.

“The media.”

Pretty evident from the very beginning we were in serious trouble, and the extent to which would be much more than zero and much less than 2 million.

If you can’t wade thru the bs any better than that, that’s on you.
I think most people with a brain knows the media pushes a narrative on everything. Pretty sure you bought into their hysterics.

I had no idea a global pandemic had in-game redass. You guys know we're still in the middle of this right? I know how much we like rushing the field before the game is over, but they're still counting bodies, so maybe wait on it.

Vegas is really missing an opportunity to recoup some expenses by putting an over/under on this thing. You guys could win your arguments just by posting your receipts.

George Strait is an underrated cover artist. Drinking Champagne and I Met A Friend of Yours Today are at least as good as the originals, if you catch my drift

Sopranos is an all timer. Is it #1? it’s in the conversation for sure. Feel like it and the Wire are 1/1A. Edge Sopranos for me.

Ive decided to watch along since KSR is doing it and i don’t really have much else to do in my life, will probably be my 8th or 9th time...pretty much an authority on all things sopranos.

Sometimes I think of Anth as Tony, but he’s really more of an AJ.
