Anth I’m thinking this first night out will require cowboy ribeyes, some straight up Fred Flintstone steaks.

Rescue Me has been fun to rewatch.

Off next week, what to do...might catch some
Fish.

The peak of calculator sophistication. Everything after that is overkill, imo.

Do kids still use those badass TI-82 calculators, or have the Common Core losers ruined all the fun? I was pretty sure in high school I could program a rocket to fly to the moon with one of those things. Provided one my asian Dunbar magnet program buddies could help show me how, that is.
Those suckers were perfect for crip sheets.

"Anthony, why do you need you need your TI-83 out for a literature test?"
"Oh, sorry(clicks button to show snake game) I was just playing snake."

-That StatNews article is really interesting. I'm of the mind that there are already millions and millions affected, and I'm 50/50 that I've already had it myself tbh. While I understand and am (currently) on board with what the authorities are recommending, I still need to be convinced this American Shutdown isn't doing more harm than good.

-The Weeknd dark/melancholy vibes are definitely fitting at the moment. [thumb2]

-The whole lockdown thing '73 keeps going on about, how is it really any different than what we are already on, aside from the extra added panic? Nobody is gonna be arresting anybody for going to work or out for food, which as far as i can tell, is all anyone is doing now save dumbass teenagers.

-Anyone jump on Brady/Bucs bet? My book had it at -120 Tuesday, but I waited a bit until numerous solid sources were reporting, and was still able to get it at -150 late that evening. Seemed like free money, and was really needing some action. :boom:

-Now seems like as good of a time as any to really dig in and learn Hold'em or Omaha. I have a good handle on general poker, but have never had the desire to learn those games b/c I don't have the patience & much prefer other casino games.

-Now that I'm mostly working from home, a LONG *** honey-do list magically appeared on the bar this morning.

-What are some cool new things to buy?

-Had to haul a bunch of equipment out of the office Wednesday: two monitors, docking station and a printer/scanner because only registered devices will work on HCA’s network so couldn’t use my home one.

-Conference call at 8:30 every morning with my team. Everybody’s adjusting pretty well all things considered. Outlook is being an ******* though for everybody.

-Put a little snakebite in my coffee this morning. Who’s gonna stop me?

-My dad called last night and told me Beshear (“that son of a *****”) is going to shut down the highways and interstates to all non essential travel. His source? Facebook.

In several zombie/pandemic movies it’s not the virus but the vaccine/medicine used to fight the virus that causes the massive death toll and zombies so this rushed malaria vaccine is lining up to be the thing that kills us all.

One of the things about this that would really suck for you is that this would mean ZBB would be the last concert you ever attended.

Bring one wiped calculator and swap with the ALL NEEDED INFORMATION LOADED calculator after the professor checks. FTW.

All else fails just slam your head on the desk and act like you passed out due to an illness. Go home and retake at a later date. Went from a 2 to an 89 in a STA 291 test with that little trick.

I had myself convinced I had ALS after my calf muscles started twitching one morning. Until my wife called me a dumbass and reminded me I had walked with her up and down Bardstown Road at the dumbass Zombie Walk the night before.

To be clear it wasn't every class/test, but if you're going to give me a 22 year old grad student with a loose grasp of the english language to teach a 400 level Finance course, I'm going to do what I have to do. TS.

The governor, on KSR, said you can call his office to report when your employer isn’t following the social distancing recommendations.

He also said the restrictions could go on for months, not weeks. o_O

One opinion I don't want during this time is Matt Jones'. The man can't even hang a picture frame. Not my voice of wisdom when **** has hit the fan.

My 2 year old took one of those sans hilarious message to "show and share" at school last week before the world ended, so that is her legacy in those kids' eyes. What a damn nerd.

Honestly outside of roadblocks how are they going to keep people at home. The job sites are packed this morning. The roads were busy. There are 40 million people here. No way police can enforce that. Will be interesting to see the response at the end of the day and over the weekend.

Tomorrow all of you need to stock up on a 30 day supply of food and supplies. Get some cash. Take care of your families and yourselves. Any business you need to take care of outside the home. You will be under similar lockdown this weekend. Be prepared.

Inmates - NYC is talking about releasing all of theirs including the violent ones. That would be a terrible decision.

I wouldn’t have believed it a week ago but now? Sure. NYC is releasing all their inmates. 2020 is absolutely w i l d

“In the next 48 hours, we will identify any inmates who need to be brought out because of either their own health conditions — if they have any pre-existing conditions, etc. — or because the charges were minor and we think it’s appropriate to bring them out in this context,” de Blasio said on WCBS radio Wednesday evening.

You aren't going to see double ax murderers back on the streets.
