Drove up to one of my apartment buildings today, a 28 unit complex. It's not unheard of to see 6-8 people out drinking in the courtyard on a nice day. Today, it LOOKED LIKE FU@king FREAKNIK. I hurriedly jumped out my truck. The first tenant I came upon

This whole some people can work and some people can’t garbage is just that. Lots of mixed signals out there today. I haven’t been home all day. Made at least 100 phone calls. Didn’t get arrested. Will be interested to see how long this lasts. Lots of frustrated angry people here.

If I didn’t have a gym in the backyard I would lose my ****. I hate running and body weight workouts get boring after a while. I’m sure my gym is closing soon.
parks are closed, we tried to go play basketball and a cop came by and told us to leave. Wtf do you expect people to do, sit inside for a month?
One restaurant group is staying open with 3 places that are packed right now doing the old “fine me, well pay it” routine.
Planes still coming in dropping tourists off. Can’t imagine when they get to their hotel and are told there is nothing open, enjoy your stay.
Doesn’t surprise me. Like I said, about 60-70% of the people here are now unemployed for at least 30 days. Everyone is just walking around getting tanked and waiting for reality to set in.
Upwards of 30 million jobless and completely reliant on the government (not including dependents). This is unreal.

Well, HOPEFULLY, and most likely those jobs aren't all gone and they're unemployed because it makes more sense to allow them to get UE than stay open during heavy regulation OR they were forced temporarily to close.
Most restaurants, bars, retail, gyms, malls will open back up.
Wuhan mostly opened back for business this week, FWIW. 105 days. A manageable target, IMO.
Plus, its almost summer. It doesn't like hot and humid weather. Yet another reason to hate winter, dumb winter lovers.

Some of factories In the province that Wuhan is in started back around February 17th as we have been trying to manage that supply chain. Many started at around 50% capacity at that time.
Multiple Liqour stores are drive thru only already. Chief, I’d say your increase there is based on fear of closings so they are hoarding alcohol too. Basically the same way grocers are seeing huge bumps in sales too.
My distributor cut his order in half this week which pissed me off, but I understand. So if you aren’t stocked up I got 800 bottles just added to my collection, let’s f’ing drink!!

That’s assuming their original #’s weren’t manipulated.. I believe the Chinese were burning corpses for months and have underplayed their **** response and responsibility.
*our tenant, whose eviction hearing was scheduled for today- which is over a month after she was given notice, had her hearing moved back to "at least 45 days" at which point she will have lived rent free for 6 months. She informed our property manager that she will be quitting her job to rely on only government assistance so none of her wages will be garnished. (i'm not certain if that is an actual policy).
*The local ABC approved drive thru liquor pickups today. I'm stocked up for a few years but it seemed like a nice gesture since thats not something we typically have here.
*Most stores are limiting ammo sales to a couple of boxes per person.
*My father's senior league pickle ball final has been canceled. He's taking it pretty hard. As the #1 seed he was on his, way to victory.
*Echo the sympathy for those of you with children. I imagine the homeschooling, quarantining and overall panic is difficult for them to comprehend.
