Dude. Just fly into Denver first class on United, take a private Cessna into Ouray, book a helicopter ride to the top of Imogene Pass and hit the back country slopes. There’s a few off the grid hunting lodges you can rent that come with their own staff, and you can either snowshoe into Silverton or hitch a snowmobile ride with a local. They have a brewery there that’s open seasonally, on weekends from 2-4pm. Great hunting in case you get hungry and want to try elk or moose for dinner, too.

Enjoy your romantic getaway!

Cant believe you would bring up a helicopter right now. Very insensitive.

Not sure what you're trying to say WW. That Peanut Butter is beneath a grown man? Crunchy peanut butter is? Is this like your horrendous Mac N Cheese take?

Hard to beat an occasional snack of PB & Saltines w/ a little Trippie Redd blasting in the background. JMO

Pops would crush about 15 PBs and Zesta crackers with a tall glass (sometimes two) of chocolate milk every night. I've seen him do it recently. I love to dip a big tablespoon into a large jar of Jif one or times a night.

Am actually heading back out to Vail area next month. Buddy lives right near Beaver Creek in Avon.

Did Vail last year. This year probably going to knock out Beaver Creek.

Spend the first day skiing at a spot not on the epic pass called Cooper. Much smaller mountain. Got used to altitude and what/not there. $30 lift ticket on a Thursday instead of $200.

The Perfect North of the Vail area

What are some other good places for ungroomed Black diamond or extreme tree skiing for a beginner? [eyeroll]

Nice flex tho.
Eldora is about 20mi from Boulder. I'm sure you could probably join a bomber school class with 8-10 year olds to get your feet under you. I don't *think* they'll laugh when you fall off the lift chair...

It was a joke. Brandon Stroud was being sarcastic saying he voted for Lebron. I then said "Well Lebron once said IF he went to college he would have attened UK", that is close enough. Nobody was really serious, and nobody mentioned anything about Tubby having the ability to sign him.
We've all been reading the thread butt fahker, no need to rehash it... or post at all.

I took a G650 to Boulder airport the other day. I concur as that was a good trip.

I also do not understand the charge rule, but WCC has explained to me that if it's against UK it's ********, but if it's on the opponent it's a good call.

Hope this helps.

-So Vandy has lost 24 straight SEC games (26 counting tournament)? That's incredible.

This is not true. I think it’s ******** 9/10 no matter if it’s against or for us. UK really doesn’t take charges, though.

I think Bristol made the point and it sounds completely ridiculous but true...if you changed the signal for the charge to something a lot less fun to do it would probably get called half as much.

Palming goes uncalled 10 times a game right in front of the ref, but you don't get to run halfway across the court with one hand behind your head and a fist in the air like a WWE wrestler who just performed a finishing move.

After a day of falling on your *** every five minutes...you'll be ready to meet me at the casinos in Black Hawk.
Yeah, if you're not skiing regularly the altitude and slopes are going to kick your ***. Willing to bet that's a 1 day deal so you better plan on something else.

BREAKING: Refs are basically nebbish dorks acting out their insecurities for the public to see! (Also, probably racists.)

Randall, you have it pretty good these days bub. Seems like you're somewhere just about every month. [thumb2]
How the hell old is Randall? I’ve been here since this site, and it’s predecessors’, beginnings — 1995 for me. Long before he became “Chumps”. It feels like he’s been here as long as I have. He couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old when he started posting on UK boards. :flushed:

-i haven't been in a *long* time...excluding girl scout trips to perfect north/paoli. I need to get back out west(before im too old).

-it can't be emphasized how much easier/more fun it is to ski out west. I enjoy snowshoe...but powder>ice and its alot less work.

Anth knows more about skiing than anyone I know who hasn’t been skiing once since I’ve met them (15 years ago)

The man is truly a jack of all trades.
Grew up skiing, bubba. We've been over this. I've been since we met although not nearly enough considering my wife has zero interest.

Just go to the top of a mountain pass, park car, ski down to bottom, hitchhike back to the top of the pass.

Lots of ppl at the pass from 70 to Winterpark. Definitely ungroomed and best of all it’s free.

Snowboard > Ski

I sucked at stopping, but had a damn blast regardless.

- Attempted mascarpone, and despite following a recipe it’s garbage!

I will figure this out, and with a our pasta maker I will master homemade mascarpone ravioli.

FYI, I have never been skiing, snow or water.

I get the snow skiing. I have never been snow skiing either, but how in the world have you never been water skiing?

I was introduced to water skiing by the time I was 8 years old; so was almost every other person I know, and I grew up in McCracken County.

I swear in Marshall County they start you on water skis at 4-5. Crazy!!

That’s like saying you were never in Little Dribblers! :scream:[winking]
