Real talk you’ve “accidentally” just knocked down a 40502 smughut because no one was home before tho right?

just once?

never. We did tear one down over there and part of the debris did land on a neighbors fence. It didn’t damage the fence, but it did lean on it. That neighbor called me on a Saturday morning and demanded I come “fix it” right away. When I got there, he came to his door like I was the taliban, and then proceeded to explain that he can’t have his property disturbed because his wife is a “Chevy chase girl” like I gave ANY ***** on where is dumb little wife is from. That’s probably been the snottiest thing ever said to me on a demo job.

I've never owned any Italian shoes, but my small batch farm-to-shelf loafs I picked up in London are :fire:

Most bankers in Lexington seem to change banks every year, two years tops. Musical chairs.

Never understood (a) why they move around so much; or (b) why the banks themselves all play the game and hire these people, when they must know they're all short-termers.

That's how you make money & obtain raises over 2% in banking, unfortunately. You won't find many higher-up bankers that haven't worked at 3-4 other banks.

Richie is on his what, 4th in the last 7 years or so before finally finding the gig that seems to suit him well? That's what it do

The best part about banking is the sales job your buddy puts on you, always during that first 1-2 month delusional honeymoon period, when insisting that the latest move truly is a great one. The leadership, the bank, the pay, the flexibility is TRULY different at this bank, just like it was at the last five.

Filter's "Picture" is a jam. I won't go as far as saying it's a banger. But it's a jam.

How does it compare to Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow's "Picture"- well that's up to each individual based on their musical taste, I suppose.

Welcome to this place Chase, I'll show you everything.

It's a great terrible song that's fun to mock sing, like Tubthumping, for example.

IIRC, they were not slaves at all or so he told he British. They just one of those colonial South Carolina European-African farming co-ops they talk about so much in history books.

-saw Jesus Christ Superstar last night at the KY Center. Very good but I still like the movie better for some reason. Judas killed it. Jesus was fine but he had a hipster top knot bun for the first two acts.

-playing Red Dead Redemption with my 12YO daughter. Some random persons got kicked in the head by their horse and she cackled. Kids are sadistic.

-Currently waiting on a sandwich at the Logan Street Market. Cool idea but I’m pretty sure these booths will be filled with cell phone repair men and Middle Easterners in about 6 months when the Vegan Beef Jerky booth fails along with the craft dog treat booth.

I guess the little girl carried the grief of her father leaving and brothers dying with her in real life. She OD'ed in 2014.

Great flick but not his most re-watchable.

My sons solution to any issue in Red Dead Redemption is “shoot them and steal their horse”.

Friday Musings

- Found a humongous load of old VHS home movies. Found a VCR, bought a converter and made the family all DVDs for Christmas. We sat and howled for hours. "Best gift ever" was thrown around while I nodded and tipped my glass of brew.

- Not going to lie, I mark out for Comic Con at Rupp. Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence, Sensei Kreese this year; three-year span with some of my child icons: Ric Flair, Zack Morris and the Karate Kid crew. It's the ultimate in people watching, too. Hell, throw in Steve Guttenberg and Michael Winslow from Police Academy and I'm going to enjoy the nerdy mass.

- Some longshots to look at for Vegas future odds on the Derby:
* Ajaaweed (50-1)
* Shoplifted (75-1)
* Shotski (125-1)
* Soros (150-1)

- After recess water is still at the top of my best drinks of water list. Teacher would always count and each kid had three seconds. We'd still be sipping 5 seconds later while she screamed, "Matt, I said THREE!"

- Straight addicted to Toy Blast game app on iPhone.

- County Fair Ride rankings:

1. Togoggan

2. Gravitron

3. Scrambler

4. Zero Gravity

5. Classic ferris wheel with your crush

Next time I see Chad I'm gonna get some feedback for an updated Top 5 ice waters list - it's been too long. Guaranteed MULTI when it drops though, book it.

-Man, GREAT call on the Tobaggan. I probably would have never thought of that ever again, but it was #1 for young BBdK at the state fair.

Gravitron operator was one of my dream jobs as a kid. Honorable mention was the garbage man who gets to hang off the back of the truck, but I recall that my parents didn't support that dream.
