Regarding Duffy’s run, here’s the quote by our center Drake Jackson: “Duffy’s always like, ‘Y’know, I feel like there’s times I can run,’ and he just took off.” [laughing]
I’m still soaked after that game last night. Proud of the many who stayed till the end making it a fun atmosphere.
I think it’s time to talk to the K Fund about some of them fancy covered seats with the ability to booze it up though.
I decided to play against the rules and bring a 6 pack of Cougar Bait into the game with me. (Big rain coats for the win!) Quite enjoyable to eat pizza, drink some cold beers, watch football, and stand in the rain. All without barfing on anyone or getting into a fist fight. Us commoners can handle our booze Mitch....... Ya hear me Mitch? 6 beers X $10 stadium prices = $60 UK lost out on. Mitch? Hello...... multiple that by 30-40,000 every game....... Mitch..... is this thing on? Can you hear me?

The stadium looked absolutely empty the entire second half, but everyone who was there the first half claims they stayed til the end lol.
There are quite a few opportunities for Max Duffy to run. He is quite a weapon and needs to go for it a whole lot more.

And if he does, that's going to make it more difficult for opposing punt returners to do anything with what little he gives them. Guys staying up to account for him running just means more opportunities to down his punts at the one like we should be doing every single time.

If Bowden is going to be our QB the rest of the year and we are going be a Go-Go-Gadget team, Duffy is a pretty solid weapon to put the other team in the position of having to defend against a guy who can kick it 50 yards with either foot and can also run it.
Those are the little, weird advantages that Stoops and Co are usually pretty good at exploiting.

The crowd was better than I had expected. Mad props to the Schems, tailgate was smaller but got quite a bit rowdier. Sloot was slangin the pumpkin pie like it was her job. Shew.
