HOLY ****! With that forecast it looks like I'll be working, playing some golf, a little pool time, and getting a few things done around the house -- in other words, just like every other week so far this spring.

Whiny weather bitches.

STFU, spin master Telly.

I hope you melt in your sweat the first time you play in 85 degree plus heat.

Honestly thought Pope wouldve just jotted that joke down and saved it for a busier time in GYERO... like a thursday before a football game or even waiting until basketball season.

Kind of a shame that didnt get the audience it deserved, wasting it on the summer-only crew

* Turns out it's my mother's birthday. Thanks, facebook reminder!

* Zac Brown Band...

gucci bags, stacks on stacks, diamonds fill up the champagne glass.
veyron whip, g5 high, you've got class you just can't buy.

Hang 'em up, ladies and gents. This can't possibly be topped.

* President, New Orleans Track Club.

* Is there even real news anymore, or just those late night comedy/news satire mashups? Like, a bunch of Jon Stewart pretenders. Not that I'm complaining. But, for my money, my uneducated opinion...

Stephen Colbert and John Oliver (his bit on MLMs and on televangelists were amazing) are the best.
Seth Myers is a whiny little dweeb.
Trevor Noah not funny.
Never watched Bill Maher, but he seems miserable.

I'm sure I've missed a few.

* Heading to NYC in the morning. Statue of Liberty tomorrow. Gal is doing the 100k, starting in Times Square and finishing in Queens. I'm laying up and playing a supporting role.

This dude will be at it again...

* Yesterday marked the day the lass finally put her foot down and threatened me physically if I didn't get my doctor prescribed pharmaceuticals filled. Just not a fan of drugs, unless they're recreational.

* 4 in a row @ Milwaukee, a short trip to LA to play the hapless Angels, and another 3 at home against the first place Cubbies. Wanna make up some real ground in the NL Central? Here's your chance.

* Just because:

* Tackling the 2nd Ken Follett book in the Kingsbridge series. > 1,000 pages, and I'm not completely certain why. Mildly entertaining, I suppose.

* Asian pron just never really did it for me. Just MHO.

* The Mouse Trap seems to be criminally underrated by some of you Lexingtonians. Best sandwich spot in town, and it aint even close.

Dad's and Mousetrap are both fine. My only complaint is their normal could cut sandwiches are pretty meh. If I house a pimento and country ham at lunch I'll feel miserable all day. In that regard, I've been spoiled by Morris' so I just save my sammich days for every other Wed.

Tried Stein's yesterday because I was in a bad mood and wanted something heavy. It was alright. Not the best pastrami on rye but the only one in Lex.

Leaving this afternoon for Alabama on a 12 man golf trip. Playing two courses from the Robert Trent Jones Trail and Gunter's Landing, which is supposed to be one of the best tracks in Alabama. 36, 36, 36. Strip club close to our house is giving away a car tonight for their 25th anniversary, so that should be a **** show. I'm just hoping I don't get shot or stabbed. Fully expect at least one person to vomit on the first tee box each morning.

Pimento cheese and potato salad. There is only one correct way for each and all the others are wrong.

Yep. Thanks to B$, I've come to love Pimento Cheese in recent years, but still don't want it on soft white bread for some reason - need a little texture in there somewhere. Will burn up a tub w/ some crackers tho :fire:.

The Anatomy of a 3-4 day Golf Trip:

-Day 1: Arrive & head straight to the course exhausted from the drive, and most are buzzed from road pops. Play like ****, but it's fine b/c you're on a golf trip & everyone back home is at work. First night everyone is rowdy & ready.

-Day 2: Course early AM, some hangovers, but everyone in good spirits. Bloodys on the 1st Tee hit the SPOT :fire:. Long day, by the end everyone is drunk again & it's time for another good night.

-Day 3: Course early AM. Everyone wants to die, but another Bloody helps ease the pain a tad, but also kinda tastes like razor blades. By day's end everyone is drunk yet again and pushing through. Big dinner, and everyone is immediately TOAST, any delusions of getting out are gone in an instant.

-Final Day: Wake up, and swear that you are never drinking or golfing again. (Hopefully your group doesn't want to play a quick 18 before the drive [sick], and if they do you vow you will never do it again) Contemplate driving off a cliff on the miserable ride home.

They're the best. :sunglasses::golf:

-I'd think about doing Eli again if we could recreate cabin night. You all still have that place or is it a strip mine? Don't think I can go this year but I'd be down next year.

-In college one of my best buds, most of y'all have met him, took 10 of us back home to Cullman, AL one random weekend. 1st night we were the most sober people, we were hammered, in a local wrestling event at a bingo hall. 2nd night we got into an all out brawl in a trailer park and ended up drinking with the guys we were fighting the rest of the night. Good luck, Chase.

-Yes, Dad's and Mousetrap are fine. They're not great, they're not bad.

-ABH, almost broke up with me last night because I didn't realize it was his birthday. Close call. Don't even know where to find that reminder on FB.

-Chase, are they going to shoot or stab you in the ***? That's a strange injury to forecast.

A guy I represented a while back had a colostomy bag from getting shot, hence the connection. Believe he was shot in the abdomen/colon. But I’ll check with him though and see if he may have been mistaken and they stuck the gun up his *** and pulled the trigger.
