We can’t keep missing wide open 3s and expect to do anything special this year. At least 6 wide open 3s missed. It’s really as simple as that.

And we’re about 0-50 on those big momentum-altering 3s.

We have 6’11” dudes making us pay. Our shooters have to hit them.

Lots of redass to go around, but Cal bitching up and deflating the ball after getting a lead finally cost him a W.

LSU couldn’t guard us attacking the rim and pushing the ball in transition. We get up 8, and it’s nothing but dribbling the ball up the court into our baseline cutter set, while 4 players stand around looking at each other. Shocking we didn’t get open looks after doing virtually nothing on offense for 25 seconds of the shot clock.

I’ll never understand why this pudgy bastard *loves* to go away from what’s working just to drain the clock...

I've never really understood the point of the offensive goal tending rule. Why shouldn't the offense be allowed to tip it in even if it's above the rim? I guess just to make it fair because the defense can't touch it?

Because he’s a *****. That’s probably where his players get it. Take a lead, get scared to death that the other team will come back, start playing deliberate, methodical and tight.

He did it againt Auburn, he did it against Mississippi State (twice), he did it against Seton Hall and he did it tonight.

Scared to death.

Zion Williamson has gone 60 minutes with no fouls.

The rebound where he grabbed the ball OVER the guys shoulders in front of him and they called a jump ball was the tipping point for me. He isn't going to be benched due to fouls when on ESPN. Just ain't happening.

There is a lot of redass takes going around but it’s really as simple as we have to start making shots. Other than PJ we don’t have one “easy bucket getter”. Everything else is hard.

Teams aren’t even guarding Hagans, when he was having his coming out party he was getting to the rim and getting easy buckets off steals...but now teams have tape on him.

We have to knock down the good looks we get...that’s not just on Herro, either. Baker, Quickley, KJ are all tossing up bricks on good looks.

We are winning Saturday, book it.

I never understood the defensive goal tend rule. Why shouldn't the defense be able to block the shot if it's above the rim? I guess just to make it fair because you could stand there all day and just block everything?

Had to watch on DVR and just finished about 15 minutes ago. I’m still so GD pissed at that missed goaltend I can’t calm down. Just stalking around the house furious and looking like an *******. Absolutely egregious. Those piece of **** refs should be suspended.

He’s explained this ad naseum over 10 years now...and it will be one reason why we lose some bs rock fight in March to some bs team.

Advanced metrics and Joel Justus can SMD.

Goooooo!!!!!!! STOP!!!!

I like Keldon but I have to admit he lacks a gear I was hoping for/expecting. I don’t think he’s a *****, he’s just not as athletic/talented as I thought. He gets blocked a LOT at the rim and really doesn’t have the “go get us a bucket” game I thought coming in. PJ is that guy for us, for better or worse.

Wade is quickly turning into a heel ***** but that LSU squad is legit.

Either NBA skill level or size at almost every position. Naz Reid a Myles Turner clone while Waters puts the ball on a yo-yo and goes wherever he wants.

There's a lot of talent on that team.

- I will say it's weirdly refreshing to have a WTF loss and not evoke loathing towards PJ Washington. Dude is blossoming right before our eyes. He's entering All-American territory if he keeps this up.

- Book is out on Hagans. His next step is adjusting to the scouting report and keeping his foot down on the pedal. IDGAF if he goes 4-13 against Bone Saturday. He needs to keep folks honest if we're to entertain any thoughts of hitting our ceiling.

Still hoping Herro can be that dude but he’s not very efficient.

-Hagans has been in a bit of a freshman slump for a couple weeks and playing a guy like Waters didn't help. Foul trouble = tentative play = getting blown by.

-Quickley makes some bad decisions but he played great d on Waters in the first half. Probably should've just stuck with him.

-Boards, missed FTs and shots are what killed us.

-Tough loss but we bought ourself some equity with those road wins. I'm ok with a late season loss if it effects change and refocuses the team. We need a few guys to take the next step. Lick our wounds and get back aftet it Saturday and all is well.

-Leggo Cards.

- Wade is corrupt as hell. Besides the fact he’s on tape being shady, Reid is from NYC and ends up at LSU?

- Penn State helping us out a bit...

Keldon is king of the almost “Holy s***” dunk.

He’s good for a freshman, but he has become merely another face in Cal’s freshman menagerie after cooling off from 3.
