I agree with that, but again, who do you want in there? And like I said last week, these idiots need a guy with a brain and a set of balls out there or they'd likely have already lost another game. I get what you're saying, I'm just saying think about the team with Richards out there playing 32 minutes a game. Because that's where you'd be.
The biggest issue with this team is Cal has no GD clue how to coach it.
His schizophrenic sub patterns, psycho behavior on the sideline, and inability get them to improve AT ALL since August are all problems with his coaching. Obviously the guy isn’t an idiot, but he is extraordinarily hard headed, and has zero ability or desire to change up his strategy.

As weird as it sounds, I'm interested in the three PG's with Keldon and EJ on the floor for a bit. Defensively we'd be atrocious (which isn't new) but "hard to guard" for sure.
I think Cal needs to yell more.
The way Cal insists on playing, we basically must have a top 5 draft pick at center to have a special team. He would’ve been great at Georgetown in the 80s.
Not hard to guard a team when one guy just dribbles on top, 3 just stand like a tree and the other tries running around trying to get screens from the 3-non moving trees.

This is one of those officiating crews that doesn't think you should get an unfair advantage from being taller, stronger, or more athletic.
PJ is so laughably bad on closeouts I would almost just rather he stay in the lane and hope the shooter misses.

The 13 team was more fun to watch. This is the least enjoyable and maybe the worst team of the Cal era.
It was nice when we were getting the most talented players in a recruiting class.
