Announcement open to public and dir of recruiting at 247 with a 91% accuracy in cfb recruiting. Tea leaf.

Plus JRow, Lackford & co. with threads/articles last night leading one to believe Robinson is ours.

Rivals won't let them change their CB picks this late, but they believe he is ours.

Never doubt Scoop Lemond.

My kid has an "old" poster of NBA Superstars that includes the usual - Hardin, James, Curry, Durant ... and then Derrick Rose. He had no clue who he was and had a hard time believing he was a former MVP. Sad!

"So now it’s like: Oh yeah? Not interested in me? I’m not quick enough? Don’t have enough stars next to my name to be worth your time? Well here … enjoy this three-star stiff-arm to your damn chest. "

Came in third at AJ’s costume party. We were robbed.

I love Destin and alll my friends here. Not sure if I’d shared that before.

So sorry it’s over.

I do not know you,, but

Any chance you can stop by McGuire's on the way out and pick up a Reuben ? Then drop it off at Exit 22 in Bowling Green ?

Rainy Randos:

-That DRose stuff last night was wild, and really cool. Basketball has a way of providing those types of moments moreso than any other sport. Love that ***** Butler wasn't a part of it.

-Ryan Lemond Interviewing Billy Curry? Hard Pass

Speaking of that, I sat beside Donnell Gordon in a Primerica Meeting back in 2000. Then, Clay Leavell (our host) took us out for drinks and party favors afterwards while we mulled our futures as big baller financial pyramid tycoons and I gave D **** about transferring to Louisville. Did tell him that I didn't blame him being stuck behind Moe Williams. As we headed out to leave, he gave me the wink and the gun and told me despite his short stint up the road he'd always be a Wildcat at heart

-Rare weekday date night tonight --------> Aziz Ansari @ The Palace, Bar Vetti for a bite & drink beforehand. Such a great venue, pretty pumped for Aziz.

-Will Chad be joining us in our usual corner at Tin Roof Indy, or will he be wanting to do Tapas & Craft Cocktails/Wine somewhere? Someone will have to point him out to me, b/c I'm not sure I even know him anymore.

-Can we get some of you fools at the Tailgate early for once? Christ. I know everyone is older, but this week is special. Really have no clue how some of you (Richie, Brooks) get up and burn 6-10 hours before heading over/down to Lexington -- and don't blame it on kids either, b/c it's always been that way. Same for many of the Lexington peeps (AP.com). It's very poor form.

We need everyone there by 11am, Noon max. Anything past that for THIS game, and you're a loser.

-Anyone doing Breeder's Cup Friday? Really want to, but coming off last weekend's shenanigans & Saturday/Tuesday looming, feeling like it may not be the best idea. (could easily be convinced otherwise @assistbyhawkins )

I was thinking 10a is a better arrival time. I promise I'll be showered by then, Adrian. The tailgaters have been super weak/late arrivers, but man, those last 20 minutes when everyone is there are always crunk.

I am making a breakfast casserole so come eat it please.

I don't think UCF belongs anywhere near the playoffs..................however the conference has a strong argument of being the #2 or #3 conference this year. Their top 4-5 teams are something like 7-3 against Power 5 competition. Not the best teams but not all the worst either.

Wait a minute...

Are you actually saying the American Athletic Conference is the #2 or #3 conference in the entire country, or just among non P5 conferences?

You understand greatness, that’s why you’re reading this post.

I firmly believe in sustainable growth and program milestones, and what this season is doing for the future of the program is the most exciting part for me. In spite of Joker, the program actually sustained much of what Coach Brooks achieved in terms of showing everyone that we can win and changing perceptions. Without that, Stoops doesn't come here with a plan and conviction to get it done. Without Coach Brooks bringing to everyone's attention how far behind we were compared to other SEC programs in terms of financial commitment, the stadium renovations and Joe Craft Center don't happen.

So actually competing for an SEC title this season with NFL talent, in conjunction with the facilities now in place and with the University as a whole completely re-imagined from a campus/facilities perspective, UK football is, dare I say, poised for a great future. The SEC Network's spoils of exposure and money, along with our new fertile recruiting ground in Ohio help quite a bit too, obviously.

No Florida streak. No Tennessee Streak. No losing SEC record streak. There isn't an easy thing to point to anymore to hold UK Football down.

UK Football can do and be this moving forward.

I firmly believe that.

To piggy back on SAE's post...normally, a year like this would set up for a serious step back the next year.

But, I think Terry will be a lot better next year as will the WR's. AJ Rose is more than ready to be a feature back. The OL will return a lot and Young will be back. Our young LB's, Oates and Square will be stars, IMO. We lose "cheat mode" Allen but Paschal returns. The DL is pretty young as it is.

Secondary is really the only unit that takes a massive hit, they might look to add a JC guy there.

-Rack em, SAE.

-Add Robinson with Bowden [smoke] What a get, was only time until Marrow got his footing with the in state guys. Nebraska over state school, OSU, Bama... litmus test never really seemed credible.

-We'll take a step back obviously but I don't think it's a huge step back. Plus we get Ark, UT, UF, UL all at home. Schedule eases up a bit and depth is legit especially on the lines.

Wodie...

I will use kids as a reason on why I can’t get to the Extrav super early. We both work full time and want to enjoy some time with the kiddos on the weekends bc we hardly see them during the workweek. Even if I get to Lex 3 hours before kickoff I’m still away for most of the day and all of the night. At that point it’s either getting a sitter for 12 hours plus or my wife being super cool and staying back, which she has most of this season. I will also note that I haven’t missed one home game yet this year which is remarkable considering I have a 2 year old and infant at home.

So... When I roll into The Extrav around 1:00 on Saturday don’t give me any **** and be prepared to have a postgame rap celebraish after the CATS win.

Furdaddies just don't understand real life.

B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T Richie has been rolling in 2 hours (in the past, w/ Suter) before kickoff FOREVER, he's had kids for 2 years. Those are facts. I've gotten on him about it for as long as he's been in this thread.

In his case, that's just how he rolls. No reason to get upset about it or blame it on innocent helpless children.

He and the fam were early a few tailgates this season and they always come bearing food or booze. Plus, he looks good doing it. Making every game with a 2 month old from Louisville is pretty damn impressive, IMO. Lot around here that can't make that claim.

Oh good grief. [sick]

Richie is the nicest looking best UK Fan dad on the planet! He's able to have children and remain a UK fan, essentially a walking miracle! On top of all that he's also employed.

The more angry/fired up cat fans we have, the better. Sounds like he'll be among that group, so I've done my part. I love Richie. [cheers]
