Man, what do they treat cardboard boxes with these days?
I was smoking a couple of meatloaves last night and decided to get the fire pit going, too. I have a bunch of cardboard boxes in the garage from updating my #smuglife basement. Well, breaking them all down to fit in the recycle bin is for the birds, so I decided to throw them in the fire pit.
Holy ****. That rolled up, papery cardboard stuff that they wrap your new 40" UK billiards light in to keep from breaking is apparently coated with napalm.
Pretty sure the Russians up in the space station took a break from touching with our election to admire the flames.
OK, no more of that stuff in the fire. But a few cardboard boxes won't be a big deal, right?
Wrong. 15 foot tall inferno. And the flames were angry. Very angry.
Any of you poors storing stuff in cardboard boxes in your house may want to consider buying some storage bins.

-So, am I the only one who thinks Zion is going to be awesome? The "he's fat, and just a dunker" narrative is so lazy. I love his playmaking ability, and think that's where he'll shine most.
-Phil Booth put up 41 in the scrimmage vs UNC. Dude has battled injuries, but has been a key cog in that machine the past several years as a role player, primed for a big year. Nova has some good (shooting) freshman coming in, and Gilliespie seems like he's going to step in and be the next solid white guard.
-Hate it for Missouri and Jontay Porter. 2 years in a row a Porter out for the season before it even starts. Man, that school seems cursed at the moment, and not just basketball.
-Mustafa Heron gaining immediate elibility was huge for St. John's. He & Ponds could be the most dynamic backcourt in the country. I enjoy when some of the classic schools of my youth come back up a little bit.
-Predictions on the Duke/UK line? I'm guessing will Duke close as a slight favorite, if only b/c of Joe Public & the hype associated w/ their freshman class. Can't imagine it being more than +/- 2 either way.
-The SEC being good as basketball really makes me happier than it should, but I Really was sick of our league being a complete embarrassment. The coaching upgrades were swift and outstanding.
-Preseason Non-UK all BBdK Team (just guys I like)
