I have an image of that dad being a huge jerk off camera. Screaming at kids for getting skits wrong and what not...
Really? I just figured it was all organic and done for the kids’ enjoyment and chronicling the joys of childhood, any attention the parents get is just an afterthought.

I played football and rugby and suffered numerous brain injuries btw

The LLWS would've been awesome, but now that I'm back in the swing of things, I can't imagine being gone for another 10-14 days. I feel like I'm a month behind after just a week away.

Learned a few things last week as well. The only way to win this thing is to bring in some ringers as 12yo (the older the better), and do whatever you can to make sure they are eligible. Little League is a great game in it's purest form, but at the highest levels, it's a completely different game. No regrets. I don't think we would've beaten Michigan, even on our best day and their worst. They've been there before, and they know what they are doing. It's just a different level of strategy/planning. If we ever advance to this level again, we'll probably do it a little differently as well.
That kid throwing 76 from 46' has to be the equivalent of 95-100 mph heater. From NY so probably a chance he is 14-15 years old.

We have a kid that throws 75mph as well, but we were saving him for Michigan...we figured that was our only chance to beat them. Oh well. The kid we threw was an ace all year as well...it just didn't work out. That's baseball. Doesn't help when you only get 3-4 hits a game, no matter how well you pitch.

And yes, 75mph is the equivalent of a 100mph fastball.

-Superlurker is the most dramatic hungover of all time it's been an on going joke for ages.

-Speaking of that, mine's not too bad surprisingly. Basically ran out of gas by Friday and hit bed after dinner both nights. Have no time for casino clubs full of 20 year old guidos.

-Sorry folks, no super secrets this trip. Actually almost no interaction with the players at all. The rich fans and players were all over in a different tower, not sure the reason but I'm assuming it had to do with the fantasy camp or shenanigans last time. From my understanding this crew didn't drink at all. Certainly not like WCS/Willis were(I'll touch on this later*)

-Bonz was an all-star. Hell of a way to blast into your 40s. Bouncing, ordering shots, crushing beers, eating like a king, hollering at young ladies.

-Atlantis is expensive, granted you can get around it a bit if you try(we didn't), but man I love that place. Caribbean beach, nightlife, easy to get to, excellent restaurants, huge sports book, nice casino, huge gym. As long as we keep making that trip, I'm always going. I'd suggest the snarks start putting away for the next one. Would be a blast to take the little ones, can't imagine that place as a 8-14 year old. Just something for everyone and a great excuse for a bunch of wildcat friends to party.

-So I just want to hear about the team and I turn on Cam Mills talking UK volleyball. ugh.

-Clark needs to get back and what happened to Bristol?

-Tiger :scream::clap: If you couldn't enjoy yesterday, you're a *****.

-Honestly, don't recall much from the games. I'd drop towels off at the pool chairs at 9, gym, coffee, at the pool ordering the first bucket of beers at 11. So 7p = [cheers] Caught up on 15 articles on the ride home yesterday. The story lines are all predictable. Johnson is a stud, Herro is better than advertised, IQ is a great role player, Richards improved, PJ looks like a monster, Hagans needs some time, etc.

*Biggest difference in this team and 14, I think the leaders are much more focused. Talent wise is TBD but I don't think it's that far behind top to bottom.

-Really wish we saw more EJ, need that dude healthy asap. Was there any info on his back?

Shout out to KL calling out the Holderness family on the Twitter. Speaking power to truth and whatnot.

-I'm about to echo the sentiment on Facebook. THAT'S where I'll get the most heat. Bring it. I don't mind being a heel every once in a while.

-Before you ask, Anth, I can't do lunch today. Maybe Wednesday.

-Trying to pick a cruise for our Alaska adventure is ridiculous. All these ships sound the same.

-Reds vs. Tribe tomorrow night. Can't wait to cheer for the good guys and feel the heat of the Cincy Bro's sitting around me. Kluber on the hill, so, yeah. We know how this will probably go.

-Birthdaaaaaay Weeeeeek!!!!!

I’m as excited as anyone about the basketball team but I’m pumping my own brakes on any 14/15 comparisons. This tram has really good pieces but I don’t see a KAT type monster talent... yet.

May not need that given the field this year but just saying is all.

In Lou Wednesday so I'll take a rain check.

-MIL just went on an 11 day cruise/train Alaska package and raved. Princess Cruise Line IIRC.

- GD it- can UK fans of all people stop minimizing that ‘14/‘15 team? They were arguably a missed shotclock violation from going undefeated and the roster looks even better four years later.

- Sorry bro- if I go to the Bahamas (again as I’ve already been there, along with San Diego and San Francisco), it’s going to be an authentic experience NOT Atlantis.

Seeing how well these guys already space the floor and continually move the ball on offense, I'm not even sure they're capable of committing a shot clock violation.

14 had 3 in a row in the biggest game of their lives up until that point.

In short, 40-0.

-All the people siding with PTI(pti) are the same ones saying he was "toast", "done", etc, etc. Clearly, that isn't the case...Chase layed it out pretty well. His return given his circumstances has been dramatic, and happened much quicker than even the biggest Tiger homers would have imagined.

Anyways, there isn't a single athlete on Planet Earth that can get everyone's attention like Tiger in the hunt on Sunday. Yesterday was awesome, no shame in admitting I missed (recorded) the Basketball game.

-80% chance I'm at Bethpage next year.

-Shot a 69 yesterday in our Sunday Money game. :eyes: First one of those since I was in High School iirc.

-Quickley finished Bahamas w/ 18 assists and 1 turn. Definitely doesn't blow you away w/ any one thing, but dude stuffed the stat sheet every game, defended, and made shots. Had a feeling that kid was just going to be a 'gamer'.

-My guy Baker might as well file his transfer papers. I was doubtful he'd get any run prior to his injury, but after seeing who he's up against, it doesn't look good for him.

-Happy for Richards to have a nice little stretch. He'll still frustrate at times, but I had little doubt he'd make a very nice jump as a Soph, that's just how 'normal' big men go. Any coach in the country would love to have that guy on his roster...he & Travis are one helluva tandem at C.

-PJ just looks and plays like a confident vet. He was a spaz last year, what a difference.

-Monthly Casina visit last night, spun my wheels at BJ for 5 hours, grabbed a nice Steak & called it an early night.

-It's officially Time for Fall :football::basketball::fire:

Who's minimizing it? Find me another team that played 4 summer exhibition games and was 8-10 deep. If you can't understand why we'd compare that team I'm sorry. I also think the leaders of that team were questionable. On that same trip one team was in the club at 12:30a with guys passed out under poker tables the other was in the gym practicing.

Dakich and Greenberg, when they just let them go crazy and say whatever they want without keeping them structured, are nearly insufferable. I can take one or the other, but the two of them together are horrendous. Honestly, Greenberg is pretty ****, and I'm about tired of listening to him on games. He's not particularly insightful, and he's not even remotely as cute or funny as he seems to think he is.

My lineup:

Green
Herro
Johnson
Travis
Washington

Arguably defense in the backcourt could be an issue with that team, but offensively, wow.

That was probably Dan's best take ^. Bringing Herro in off the bench. I'm imagining these slow start SEC W games and after the first TV TO, unleashing Herro to either kick-start the offense or just put more pressure on their necks seems perfect for his role.

But, I really don't see these guys needing motivation to score. I also believe Cal will still scream "Goooooo" for 2 straight hours after he rolls the ball out.

For the first time in awhile, I don't think GOOOOOOOOOOOOing will be an issue. I fully expect this to be Cal's highest scoring team.

* Not a lifelong Tiger fan, but found myself really wanting him to win yesterday.

* Where would R Travis rank in this freshman class overall?

From what I've seen in four games, Herro not starting over Green would be criminal (if Green's the 2).

Kinda felt bad for Koepka yesterday. Not about the news coverage, but the crowd after it was over. When Tiger finished, as he walked up to the facility to sign the scorecard and the place was going bonkers. And the shot of Tiger looking over the gallery as they went nuts for him brought chills.

Then when Koepka got up there it was 1/50th as big of an applause. He's not chopped liver. 3 of the last 7! Ha!

-I love Herro as 6th man.

-Don't sleep on Montgomery. He's going to get plenty clock.

-Feel bad for Koepka? Those guys know exactly what's going on and they feel the same way about Tiger. Tiger is his idol and he just beat Tiger scoring his lowest final round major score of all time. That's amazing. I'm sure he loved not being the center of attention considering his personality.

Kyle Macy's joyless commentary during our 2012 games was what pushed me off the cliff on him.

(Marquis Teague throws a crazy lob to Anthony Davis, Kentucky leads by 28)

I would have thrown a bounce pass there. It counts just the same if you lay it off the glass.

He thankfully doesn't announce anymore, but now he's on the coaching staff at Transylvania, so a double barrel eff you to that guy until he's out of there.

I know what Dakich was going for. If I were reeling off my favorite Kentucky players ever going into this season, I'd probably go 10-15 deep before I got to my first white guy - Jeff Brassow, btw - but yeah, we all sure do prefer our white guys. Then again, my favorite player ever is Andre Riddick, so maybe I'm weird.

Favorite white dude: Travis Ford for this pass alone. I spent a lot of time working on this in 8th grade. Turn the volume down as the music is annoying.

Ford would be in the top 5 all-time for me as well. I don't care if he's a prick.
