I generally root for the away team and hope to see the home crowd leave disappointed.

Watched the first half of basketball at the Yum Center before retiring to the Bonny with my old man for a few cold ones. I mean this, I have never in my life seen UofL’s fanbase this low, despondent, non-existent. It was like what I’d imagine the Red-White scrimmage to be. Place was half empty and there was absolutely zero energy in the place.
It was bizarre, honestly. That athletics department is in a bad, BAD position right now and I don’t see it improving any time soon.

:golf:So nice that in basically the next 3 weeks us amateur golfers in Kentucky seasons start. I hear a lot of people grumble and moan in the summer months with no basketball or football to watch, all the while we are playing golf on the weekends with friends and in a few tournaments and watching majors, world golf championships, and other big golf events each weekend. Go play a round in the morning, maybe get in some exercise and plop down for a couple hours of great golf theater on TV. It is very nice to have that sport to enjoy in the summer months and im pretty pumped to have at least 7 good golf weather months on the way.[cheers] Basically, us golfers encourage you to get out there and play some and quit crying its baseball season.
