We pretty much all in 100% against replay in the NFL now, or nah?

Incomprehensible to me how anyone can still support that traveshamockery.

That's what instant replay has devolved to. It was instituted to help games become better officiated, and to save the embarrassment of a missed call that technology would allow to be captured and exposed forever.

But we're here now. Teams are stripped of their ability to gain momentum because every single gd score results in a 10-minute delay to review the play. Every big reception is studied and analyzed for even the slightest mistake, as the refs bury their heads in the monitor and agonize over the letter of the rulebook law. They've peeled that onion WAY too thin.

Sports is supposed to be fun. Replay has only made the games LESS enjoyable, and it's done very little to enhance the ability and accuracy of the officials. In fact, it's probably made it worse.

-Not against the NFL or replay but I'm against whatever this catch rule has evolved into. Neither of those 2 were even close to not being a catch. I thought the game was phenomenal, only 2 real replay issues that they got right. No penalties, lots of scoring, very little Bengal style thuggish crap.

-3-0 on gambol yesterday. Eagles ML, Amandola receptions, Over.

-Went up to Sturgeon Bay with a couple college buddies to try our hand at ice fishing. One of the guys wife is from the area so he planned the whole thing. Great experience. Met the guide at the edge of the lake, he drives us out in a Polaris about a mile on Lake Michigan, drops us in a little shed with a propane heater, and we sit and fish/drink/talk ****, for the next 8-9 hours. Was about 65 in these little sheds and about 5 outside. People up there are really nice, like almost creepy nice. Their accent is dumb, probably think the same thing about us, but overall good people.

-Everyone sick of winter yet? We're in the worst month of the year. Not even close.

-Missed the game Saturday, well listened to most of the first half, but missed the rest. Meh, I figured we'd lose going int. You could see it, Vegas saw it. Getting to the make or break part of the season and some tough teams on the schedule. I love Shai, and I don't even know if this was an issue Saturday, but it can't be the Shai show. Not saying he's selfish but the offense grinds when he's in for the most part. Other guys have to step up and participate. This far in the season and we're still doing the 1 guy tries to break down his defender.

-Philly fan is the worst fan in sports but looking forward to the videos. So far the first 3 are -> Awning at Ritz Carlton collapses with 50 people on it, man eats horse **** and Joel Embiid randomly running around Broad St.

-Wonder when the advertisers are going to give up on the Old Spice completely random off the wall style? Can't imagine spending a couple million on a commercial to only drop the brand in the last 5 seconds. Hell a few last night were intentionally trying to confuse you? What?

In fairness to Philly fans, those three things happen after about half of their regular-season games, too.

Waiting for the inevitable mashup of all the dumbass Philly fan moments set to the music from "Sunny." Pretty sure not even the McPoyles would eat horse ****.

Kept waiting for a Dennis Reynolds drop in post this last week but I guess he's gone for good. Which is still up there with the most odd Gyero disappearances in recent memory.

Ran into him a few weeks ago at Magees. He's "too busy" to post in GYERO.

-The Shai stuff has been concerning me for a good while. It's weird b/c he's my favorite player on the team, and also our best option to get a bucket -- but him dominating doesn't really help the team. He ends up with assists b/c he has the ball in his hand 90 % of the time, but damn. He's a Shaun Livingston type who can make PG plays & give you buckets from all over the floor, but not really the guy you want facilitating your offense from out top.

We just don't make the defense work AT ALL. Even when there is finally a pass, the receiver will hold the ball, survey, dribble, etc. :weary: It's horrible to watch, and obviously ineffective.

- +1 on enjoying the game last night. Big plays were coming fast & furious throughout, good stuff.

-A&E going all in on cult docs lately. Koresh, Jeffs, Jones..I love that kinda stuff. #LivePD has catapulted that channel into one of the best on cable.

-That's cool Anth got to get away w/ old college buddies...that's something we all talk about doing, but rarely happens. Nice work. Looked like you all just had a hole w/ 500 fish at the bottom that you would just pull up, lol

-El Pres should be extra entertaining all week. That guy is going to be eating **** for a long time.

-Miss 80 Proof around here.

- Agree on SGA. Diallo for one has been affected by his emergence.

- We’re just inconsistent individually- which I suppose is to be expected for a team built like this. You have guys emerge for a few weeks, then fall back. All of our guys have has two week runs of outstanding basketball...and ****** basketball. Washington is the perfect example of this.

- I still am very optimistic. Cal has his flaws but we’re almost always playing our best ball in mid-March.

- I’v never watched that show but am a big fan of the Mandy Moore renaissance. Have always thought she was dope.

- Coach K hates his bench.

- What about Jamal Murray- dude is becoming a star.:fire:
- Spent $700 at Ikea yesterday so yeah...[banana]

They were actually tough to catch, well at least for 3 easily distracted dudes drinking beer, whiskey and moonshine. Requires constant jigging and they are very subtle hitters. We'd catch a couple per hour, mostly in waves. Still shocked I got those 2 away at the same time. Firecrackercat is basically a unicorn.

Interesting that our conversations were completely work/kid/family dominated with a few old stories mixed in and we were all out by 10p each night. Granted we had to be up at 5:30am and cracking a beer at 7:30am.

-Mandy Moore is hot as balls in that show.

Caught my annual game 'out' Saturday at Saints. That bar has really aged well & evolved nicely, just a great spot. Solid crew of myself, BellyDancer, Richie, Geese Feeder, Bonzo, TurboK, and Sutros. Would want to do that more often if we didn't lose at an 80% clip when I do. Was interesting to note the level of redass compared to years past in a clunker game. Everyone was irritated, but also kinda indifferent - which is how I've felt most of the year.

-Took my first trip up to IKEA last year, and couldn't have been more disappointed or confused as to why that place makes people go apeshit. Next time I'll drop the lassie off and head across the street to TapGalf

...speaking of that, when are we going to the WM? :golf: :eyes: That thing gets nuttier by the year, happy to see my boy Gary break through. What a waste (no pun intended) he's been.

Mom just texted me and said Patti's restaurant is on fire. Lots of great memories at that place growing up, and they type of place you can't really 'rebuild' back the way it was. Hope they can contain it somewhat.

Sounds like a grease fire in the kitchen they couldn’t get under control. I doubt the shopping area or sitting area is affected.

No, the one in Covington. [eyeroll]

I didn't know if there was more than one, *******.

I thought you were from Madisonville. Grand Rivers is over an hour away, isn't it?

I am sorry to hear of Patti's burning down. My Dad and I usually go there for dinner when we go on fishing trips to LBL.
