So apparently thus flu outbreak is as bad as can be... seemingly healthy people are actually dying. Only assumption is from now until the herd is sufficiently thinner, that its going to be like this annually. Only when some medieval type strain takes out about 40% of us, will it finally clear up.

Chick-fil- a breakfast is great, but they have the worst coffee on the planet. What a waste.

The Lithium channel on Sirius is just an amazing channel full of nostalgia. Probably the best music station in the entire lineup. Just a bunch of jams from simpler times.

Throwback music related story... I woke up one morning in high school, noticed on the kitchen table that my copy of "All Eyez On Me" was sitting their in a few pieces. My dad had apparently taken my car to fill it up with gas- and was not a fan of "All about you". He just smashed it up and left it there. It wasnt even a burned copy- I bought that 2 discer with what was probably a full days wage at the Winn Dixie.

As an expat to Kentucky, looking forward to giving this book a read

I ate a veggie sub from Subway for lunch yesterday, and then ordered the exact same thing for dinner.

So the rest of you slapnuts really need to reevaluate your definition of "killing it".

Also didn't one guy have to have a pep talk from another presumably naked dude while they both watched interracial porno just to get the deed done?

That hits the full checklist for a terrible story. Bad weather, a bunch of naked guys discussing things, one attention seeking *****, no utility service, and some sort of mythical storytelling about it after the fact.

No thanks.

So one of the girls convicted of killing that Shanda Sherer is being sent home today.

What a gross story that was as a child.

Is Hankshaker a millennial??? I thought he was an older guy like me, or at least in his 40s.

If not, he certainly has the attitude of a grouchy old curmudgeon. Which, of course, I like.

He’s early 30s, I believe, but skews millennial, imo.

Chattanooga for 3 days next week for training. Clark, any local dinner recs?

Norm McDonald's podcast is easily my favorite, and he keeps them at a comfortable 1 hour or so length. Podcasts that go on much longer than that are tedious. Example- Joe Rogan. WTF can you talk about for 3+ hours with Sturgill Simpson or Doug Stanhope?

New Bosch dishwasher installed yesterday. Damn thing is unreal quiet. Maytag broke down for the umpteenth time and splurged for something that wouldn't drown out the TV in the living room. Kinda like going from standard def to HD.

Lamar Thomas was a great Twitter follow the way he would always trash talk back at other fan bases. Will miss that, but I get why he's gone. Receivers should have been better than they were even with the Badet transfer and Baker's injury.

********.

You could argue that Clark gives the best randoms in GYERO today.
The evolution of GYERO has moved away from the Randoms- which is unfortunate. We still get some solid lists periodically that typically prompts some really good conversation out of nowhere- but those aren't as plentiful as they once were.

Not saying this place has turned into a Sh*thole country, but there are things we used to do a better job of. Maybe our lives, collectively, have just become stale (along with the outside folk knowing who is who)... Maybe some folks being active in other social media formats has forced the GYERO content to take a hit... Maybe some folks now just post way too much and are effing terrible and have annoyed just about everyone to the point of submission... and the evolution of some extremely esteemed text groups has obviously shifted some really prestigious posters into merely conversing among themselves.

Regardless, I try to give the people what they want, try to keep my likes up, and try to post through any adversity.

Just take it one post at a time. Don't treat the next post any differently than you would any other post.

Everything. He likes that setup because he says no one just sits down and talks anymore. It’s all 1 minute clips like Around the Horn or news shows with people yelling at each other for 20 second bits and then you go to commercial break.
