Imagine that! Another mindless media drone spouting ignorance about our defending. They are slaves to that narrative. For some reason, they are silent when it comes to the likes of UCLA, KU, UNC, and Nova who all are worse than us in defensive efficiency.

Kentucky's best teams under Calipari were aggressive defenders inside the arc, a trait these Wildcats have lacked all year. Missouri connected on 10 of 19 shots inside the arc in the first half, days after Georgia made 65 percent of its 2-pointers with injured Yante Maten playing just 2 minutes.

Well this isn't a typical Calipari team but we used to be explosive at least. We've turned a thoroughbred into a honyok. It's disgusting.

I hope it is the SEC. And hell it might be. Maybe once we get out, we'll fly like a bird. This is depressing. This is the team that was routinely beating the living **** out of people.

I mean, if you basically don't crash the offensive glass and immediately retreat, leave Briscoe and Fox alone on perimeter, and face guard Monk...we don't have much in the half court.

Sure, we run a few nice sets for Fox to drive, Monk through a zillion screens, and a Willis pick n pop here and there, but without the transition buckets we're very average.

Transition baskets early in the year were fools gold.

We have 39 points in 26 minutes against a 7-19 team. I realize in general our defense sucks, but the offense has been even worse tonight.

No clue why we wasted scholarships on Humphries and Wynyard. We honestly couldn't have gotten some beefy mid four star instead of those turds?

Its not just tonight, Cal generally SUCKS at coaching offense. Its pretty bad actually, he just usually has the best big man in college that makes him look good.

But Cal running a half court set????:joy::joy::joy:

After beating USC, the one of the best defenses in the country, we managed to crack 1.1 PPP possession just 2 times and scored less than 1 PPP 4 times. It's the story of our decline.

I still love John Wall. Just wanted to be NOW. Fox is pretty good though. Hasn't been the same since he rolled his ankle...playing scared.
Which is ridiculous, because that was one of the slightest little ***** ankle rolls I've ever seen.

Pitino would of done wonders with Hawkins. Glad he didn't get in on him.

Love to have a kid like Phillips on the roster.
