* Ma$e was on "Lip Sync Battle" recently. Surprised he found the time.

* Not really looking forward to all the "NOT SINCE GENERAL SHERMAN" jokes on Monday by uncreative sportswriters if the Pats roll.

* Wife was walking though the living room last night and saw Goodman on the TV: "Does he have something in his mouth?"

* If Kansas were in the SEC, how many of those "11 straight conference titles" would they have? They wouldn't have won the league in...

2007 (Florida)
2010 (UK)
2012 (UK)
2014 (Florida)
2015 (UK)

And possibly others.

Bill Self sucks, is what I'm trying to say.

-Going to take the little one to St. X/Male tonight
Mark K. is making his debut as substitute color guy on the radio broadcast tonight, feel free to disrupt as you see fit.

Back to SportsByBrooks -- I got to googling yesterday after he was brought up -- I somehow missed that entire ordeal.

Several in-depth investigations by into where he went, and nobody has a damn clue -- just completely fell of the face of the earth.

Bizarre story.
I missed it as well and read up on it after you guys mentioned it....apparently Jeff Pearlman found him, was writing an article about him, and abruptly let it go with a "some people that don't want to be found should be left that way"......and that was that. I'm sure whenever his story gets told it's going to be an odd one.

Active twitter and Facebook pages that haven't been updated since he disappeared, bizarre to say the least. Keith Morrison will weave quite a yarn about it one day.

I wanted Trae Young because I think he's a great player and a lot of fun to watch. Don't get me wrong, he's gonna be a star. Cal would've been the perfect coach for him because he's so good at adapting the team to the talent he has.

That being said, I think there's tremendous comedy potential in him going to Kansas. Bill Self loves to hide freshmen on the end of his bench and let their cakes bake, but I'm sure Trae has plans on starting right away and has possibly even been promised as much. Seeing Bill Self go from his veteran guards who know and run his offense and defense perfectly to a kid who models his game after Steph Curry and loves launching thirty foot threes and improvising from one play to the next is sure to go smoothly.

Glad we took Quade because he's built this class and Young wasn't doing that. In fact he likely would've scared a few off. No bad will to the kid but once Green was in I moved on. Green was the most important recruit of the class.

-anyone else still waiting for Richie to tie in some anecdote about brothers with his Atlanta story? Kept waiting for it to go that way.

-forgot all about sbb.

-Miss ATL SECT. Needs to be in the rotation.

-Adios D-F. Get pumped on the way out. First real good thing from #CelebrityPresident. Now turn off twitter and shut up about the wall.

-Suppose WCC is waiting instructions from the Hollywood Politics Instagram.

-Sage Rabbit in Lexington has a good burger.

-Bordeaux on tap as soon as I put little man down.

-Briles is just a bad dude. Enjoy exile, asshat.

-SEC road win tomorrow. Leggo.

-new home gym setup is on fleek.

UK opened at -2. It's now Florida -2.

The way we've played the last few games, not surprising. First time all year we're underdogs. Usually that's when Cal'a at his best.

We shall see.

While I think we have a lot of work to do to get to a Final 4, I'm not following their logic that UK is good enough to get to the final 4 but a championship is far fetched. I mean if you get to the final 4 as Kentucky a championship is definitely in the question.

This team is good enough to win a title, period. To say different is idiotic and to puff your chest if it doesn't happen, when the odds are overwhelming against (as they are for every other team) is equally idiotic.

However, I complained early about our lack of use of Bam...but now I'm not sure that it's in this team's DNA, or his, to stand around and try to post the big fella. I think maybe it's best if we just turn Fox and Monk loose, let Zay be a facilitator, and Bam a finisher and trash man.

What's the price tag/logistics on even getting to Antartica?

Everyone in the group flew into Punta Arenas, Chile, then flew as a group on a jet to Antarctica (gravel runway there). Started running around noon shortly after landing, then spent the night in tents before leaving the next morning. Put on 4 layers post race and had a 0 degree-rated sleeping bag and stayed plenty warm. Didn't get really dark until 11:00 pm and started to get light again around 2:30 am.

Let's just say the price was about the same for me traveling alone as the wife and I spending two+ weeks in Australia.

Wife talked me into going to Woodhaven for dinner and to watch the game tonight. I hate going out for bigger games but I thought it'd be nice to give her a "win".

Meeting up with some other married friends. UL fans. Dude is cool though. We'll pound beers while they cluck about what group vacation we will be taking this year.
