Had to put our dog down today. He hadn't had a ton of health problems apart from all the things old dogs go through, but he wasn't doing great, and then he just couldn't breathe. Still it was a really neat 12 years. Got him during my freshman year of college. Went on the last two Florida trips and was the best dog I've ever had.

Everybody here who's been through this knows how much it sucks. We'll get through it. The sun's going to try hard to rise tomorrow.

Briscoe up to 42% from 3 :eyes:

It would be poetic if Roy Williams got to celebrate his 800th win again in a few years.

Lol Larry vaught talking to the jump rope man who has that team of little girls that go around jumping rope at halftime....

Larry's favorite is when the girls sit down and jump the rope, he kind of stuttered and didn't want to say "butt", but he recovered and stated that he would like to see Mariah Montgomery try to do that. Lmao hell yea Larry.

*do they really jump rope on their butts? That seems unreal.

So the biggest name (former presidents excluded) at the inauguration is apparently going to be Lee Greenwood. What a baller. Dont mock him unless you think you can pull off this patriotic outerwear like a boss. The raised black fist adds something, imo.

Good time in Lexington over the weekend. Enjoyed some beers at W. 6th and ended Saturday with a late dinner at Merrick. Sometimes the food at Merrick Inn can be average but it was spot on this weekend and the atmosphere is always a good one. Grouper fingers, fried chicken, tenderloin with fried apples... enjoyable.

Hardly a prettier drive than going down central Kentucky and east Tn. Caught a little fog on the farms Sunday morning.

I miss Lexington, man. Been right at 10 years since I left. I enjoy where we are at now, but only seeing my best buds a couple times a year at most, is still tough to swallow. Bachelor me was back there once a month on average, but those trips are becoming few and far between.

Snagged tickets to U2's show in Chicago in June. U2 show Saturday, Cubs/Cards on Sunday night.

Don't know if you plan on having kids, but if you do, you can pretty much count on those trips dwindling even more.

Enjoy.

.

^ From 13% :eyes:. Pretty amazing, especially after all the "he didn't improve ****" talk both from fans and national people early on (which was deserved). Wonder what he is over the last month or so?

Obviously, he's not a 3 point shooter, but he's proven he CAN make the open one, and is only taking the best shots (off kickouts, whip arounds, etc)

Additionally, he's at 70% on FT. That's pretty dramatic improvement, well done kid.

Overall FG% and assists are also up, and then you have his ridiculous 5:1 Assist-To-Turnover ratio ---> and the clear leader of the team on and off the court.

Not sure what more you could ask of your 6'3 Small Forward who's so seemingly so 'limited'. He's a helluva basketball player.

Turn down the 18' jump shot off the dribble. I'd rather he be blocked at the rim than shoot that, at least he may draw a foul driving. Other than that, kid has quietly had a helluva season.

Pretty sure Clark is enjoying his dink lifestyle. 2 incomes and no kids. My man is living the life iirc

Doesn't matter in the least if he is enjoying it. It only matters if she decides she wants kids. Learn biological clocks. Something I'm sure you wouldn't understand since you had all your children before the age of 14.

Two people have Duke. [laughing] How you can predict that based on how this season is going is ridiculous. All of this is happening, and only happening, because of Duke's title in 2015. The one is 2010 was with a terrible team and I have no idea how they pulled it off - and was with no one and dones, but seniors. Somehow them winning in 2015 has made everyone think K is a great one and done guy (two titles in the one and done era!) and us blowing it in 2015 has made us underrated.

Only one picking NOVA is pretty ludicrous at this point. Kansas getting all that love but they have bigger defensive issues than we do at this point. Gonzaga? I'll believe it when I see it. If they go into the tourney undefeated as we all know is a lot of pressure to put on a team and they could go down early.

Mash you posted a video of a 15 year old girl butt jumping a rope and then you talk about how effed up a kid can be?

I had my oldest when I was 14 and my youngest when I was 19 - my wife however was 35 for all 3. Think I got it under control, thanks tho!

Finally saw the Sturgill performance, and it's dope. I love that jam, and that band is awesome -- as is he, overall.

...but as Mattox has alluded too already, you can't understand what he's saying. It's like old school Bone, sounds great, but you can only make out about every 7th word or so.

I haven't seen it. But I can tell you already that a live two song show on a random Saturday night wasn't "transformative" or "epic."

Hyperbole much, Adam?

- bbdk the pic you just posted is one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile. Mainly because I'm trying to picture your broken *** trying to bend over to clean that up. Sorry but :joy:.
I know you understand.

People won't mention they can't understand half of what Sturgill is saying because he is from Kentucky. Anything "Kentucky" is worshiped by Kentuckians no questions asked. If you stuck a Kentucky Kicks *** logo on a bag of runny ****, it would be the must have accessory at the Keeneland spring meet.
