I mean, basically every single person you come across in Vegas has their hand out expecting (at minimum) a couple bucks. Bellhop, cab stand guy, bathroom attendant, cocktail servers, coat check, etc, etc.

But other than that, yeah. You'll get by just fine without.

Because you two are too dumb to read.

I'm looking forward to when Anth runs out of cash in Vegas and has to go find Sloot to get an allowance.

It's pretty simple for me. If I go somewhere and I run out of the cash I took, I absolutely do not need a device than will allow me to get more money. I should honestly leave the CC at home too.[sick]

Yup. Learn Vegas. Where on earth do I need cash out there? Especially at the hour I would be running out.

Tables and strip clubs are the only places you need cash anymore in Vegas and if I'm out of $$ means it's time to go home.

I just don't like dealing with ATMs and paying fees. I just take whatever cash I'm going to go out with and that's that. Like anth said if I run out, it's time to hit the sack.

Debit card for everything. I don't have the discipline to navigate the CC points game. Not that I wouldn't have the dough when the bill is due but I would just be pissed to pay off a large amount. Mental roadblock.

I did sign up for a service that rounds up my purchases and sticks that money in an account. (Acorns). Checked it the other day and it has a cool $1800 sitting in it in change.
Read this as "I don't have the ability to download an app an hit pay balance"

Ok, we're at the point where bob makes this really annoying. Call you all if I'm stranded in need of cash in Vegas. You owe me.

At least SAE was prepared for the occasion with the proper button up...could you imagine getting on TV for a hole in your backyard if you were wearing a hoodie?

Although, I'm not sure if any potential or current business contacts would approve of the jeans, prolly should have requested a wardrobe change to slacks, jmo.

Here's some Friday nostalgia (to switch it up for you man-children who can't manage to "keep track" of a debit card).

A friend of mine texted me that he was filling out a door schedule today and a certain door triggered a great memory. Room: 1101; Hardware Set: 18.

Love the really old dudes in Milestone who wear slacks and button ups to work out on their little old timer machines -- can definitely see Grandpa Rich pulling that some day.

Andrew Harrison (who leads all NBA rookies in minutes, assists, offensive rebounds, WAR, slugging percentage, PECOTA, and blown saves) was 2-12 from the field last night.

:joy:

I want him to play well, truly. But how someone with his size and ability can be such a terrible shooter just continues to amaze me.
Not sure if you've ever watched basketball but it is full of terrible shooters of his size and ability.

-Anyone else had interesting interactions with this Dave clerk at the Duke Rd post office? He's the GD soup nazi of post offices. I'm really not a confrontational guy but this is the third time I've walked out of there and told him he's being ridiculous.

The "hour" in Vegas is irrelevant....the only time a clock matters there is when you have a show/event/reservations to go to. Otherwise...it is 24/7...thought you knew this.

Cash necessities...
~couple o' bucks for the cocktail waitresses bringing you freebies at the tables which generally leads to her checking on you more frequently

~couple o' bucks for the concierge squeezing you in a full restaurant, or for you something to the bouncer who gets you in Omnia last minute or the hostess who gets your bottle service up to speed

~double down cash when you have your last stack out and need a rebuy

~tipping anyone and everyone who can make the experience better. Karma works there.

Or just sign for everything and get the rolleyes from the crowd.

Yep. Dude initiates a confrontation right off the bat. Strikes me more as a DMV guy than a postal worker.

Lol, yes. Last year when he made 4 people in a row buy an entire roll of tape each for their one package that needed 1 piece of tape. Wasn't really that, which is ridiculous, it was the satisfaction he got out of being an ***. I bought an entire roll and told him I'm leaving it so the people after me don't have to each buy a roll. He's a douche bag. USPS is a joke.

<------ would pay to see UKO try to slide a concierge of a full/nice restaurant or bouncer of a VIP Vegas club a "couple of bucks" and watch them laugh their *** off & tell him to head back to Jessamine Co (or to the ATM)

Stay in your lane bro.

Here's $5, (wink and gun), hook it up!!! Best seat in the house would be great!

You're right, I don't know how to Vegas. Rarely go.

-$1 chips and I don't wink and gun or over tip waitresses with the illusion they are really digging my chest hair gold chain combo.
-My wife and Debs are planning freaks, I have tables everywhere we go, doggie. Got a guy for Omni and wil drop him $100. Not doing bottle service in any nightclub.
-Don't play blackjack.
-we carry cash. WS always has it and if we need more she has a card. So everyone gets tipped that needs it.

So basically, WS is the one to rob.

Actually bottle service in Vegas isn't a bad idea if you have a few people and plan on having several drinks. Considering you're gonna be paying $25/drink, at least you get a place to sit.

Yeah, not a bad deal. Must not ever been to one of the mega clubs.

It's a from a calendar featuring busty women and carp. All 12 gals have big titties and are holding a carp.

Not sure whether it's brilliant, dumb, or awesome.
