As easy/simple as the Apple platform is, ITunes is just bizarre.

Most un-user friendly platform in the world, I loathe it and pretty much refuse to use it. How/why anyone wouldn't have Spotify at this point, if you love music, is beyond me. I bought Compton on ITunes, which I was happy to do -- but man that app SUCKS.

CDs are basically extinct, and I'm too lazy to download torrents and all that **** anymore. $10 per month for access to pretty much all the music ever created, and you support the artist (nominally). All downloadable & ad-free. There are a (very) few exceptions & artists that refuse to be on there, but they aren't anyone I listen to.

Speaking of mid 90's R&B I heard Hit Me Off on the way home from work on the radio for the first time in years and it took me back. I mean how dope was this album?

Plus, going down in the Spotify 'rabbit hole' is a great way to re-discover things you loved that you'd completely forgotten about.

I don't listen to music on it, but the Desktop version is a great way to do ^ and customize your lists.

Haven't bought a CD or DVD in years. Maybe 10 or more. Haven't owned a DVD player since I moved to Lex.

Spotify is great but I dropped it for Google Music, Pandora, Iheart, Youtube/Vevo.

Rhapsody >>> Spotify.

Tethered music is the future. Like Dippin' Dots.

Only drawback is the random big name artist who refuses to put his music on there. Prince, Garth, etc. Give the people what they want, man.

-Braff wasn't even good on Scrubs and I really liked Scrubs. It's pretty rewatchable but I don't think anything is as rewatchable as Parks. His movies are a bunch of meh.
.

Saying Braff wasn't even good on Scrubs, which you like, is akin to saying you're a Pearl Jam fan but Eddie Vedder isn't very good. WTF kind of boner take is that?

Continues to amaze me how many national media guys seem to think Tubby will be successful at Memphis. Of course, these are some of the same guys who wanted to give him NCOY this season for going 19-13 this season.

Just goes to show how biased these hacks are to coaches they like. Also explains why Bill Self gets little to no criticism for his tourney troubles and constant player eligibility issues.

He was probably the 3rd or 4th best on the show. Sorry the Braff hate hurts your feeling.

- iTunes is fine, but I didn't particularly like Apple Music.

- So, Uber plans to eliminate surge pricing. I don't mind the surge now that they're very clear about it, including make you put in a code to order. My problem was back when it wasn't clear and then you'd get home and the email receipt was ridiculous. Really took advantage of drunk people back then.

- 50 Cent is a bag and terrible rapper.

I've ran the free trials on Rhapsody, Apple Music, and even Tidal (rolleyes).

Spotify still my fav, by far -- and I have so much stuff saved and customized on there.

Pandora is good for golfing, outside, or gatherings when you just wanna let something play -- and I've got my stations pretty fine tuned. Still prefer Spotify, mainly b/c of albums/playlists.

Biggest advantage of Spotify for me was the curated playlists. Thought they were significantly better(and longer) than what Apple Music had.

Looks like NPR's story about them getting rid of surge pricing may have been false.

No Uber here. Guy got arrested a few months back for giving a few rides through the app. Never once used it myself.

I have never been to the KY Derby in my life. :flushed: Every job I've ever had has seemed to have me working that day. And if I do go, I want to see the track from the grandstands and not watch everything on a TV screen in the museum or be miserable in the infield.

Was a big Ellie Kemper fan the last couple of seasons of The Office. #RedHeads

Sill got extras for the Sturgill show in Louisville May 15th. Holla. That new album is quite good on its own merits, but I can see the fan of his country sound having trouble with it.

The Spurs have become the #1 villain for me in the NBA. I thoroughly enjoyed them crying over that last sequence. F*** 'em.

"Nobody can argue that the current state of the program under Mark Stoops is leap years ahead of what Joker Phillips made UK football."

Per BTI.

[sick]

Where does he get this crap?? He should have his own YouTube channel, where he follows up every terrible column with an explanation attempting to justify his stupidity.
If I may play devil's advocate, I think BTI has a very good, irrefutable point here.

Under Joker Phillips' watch, the UK football program made it to 2012.

Mark Stoops has coached this team into the year 2016.

Under current theories, at least some galaxies move away from each other at a speed faster than light speed and have done so since the Big Bang. Meaning in the 4 year stretch from 2012 to the present day, everything on Earth, including but not limited to the UK football program, has moved a distance greater than the same distance light has traveled during that same time between our galaxy and a galaxy moving faster than the speed of light. So assuming a certain perspective/direction, BTI is absolutely right in that the UK football program is light years ahead of where it was in 2012.

EDIT: oh wait he said LEAP years, well that's not even a measurement of distance, that's just a calendar anomaly. BTI is dumber than hell if he said that smdh

"The biggest issue with Stoops' program is he will NEVER let the program suck but he hasn't shown the ability to make us excited either."

and

"The program is not going to have a 2-3 win year under Stoops."

I was right there with you until a few years ago. Pop has grown on me and Leonard is a blast to watch on both ends. The thing Spurs fans are ommiting in their whining about the last possession is that Ginobli stepped on the line while defending the inbound. Should have been whistled a T on the Spurs before Waiters ever made contact.

- Scrubs was incredible. All of it. Been rewatching on Netflix. The medicine is actually very accurate, as are the writing themes and overall story lines with relation to residency.

- Got in at midnight, finally passed out at 1. Up at 5:30, got dressed in clinic clothes (a tie?!?), took the dog for a walk in the rain, and had a few minutes to burn so fired up the pain clinic schedule...nada. No patients. Day off for dad. One attending doing inpatient stuff and other two on vacation. Never felt more #blessed in my life. Grocery, laundry, gym, and organize email type of day. [banana]

- Just started using Spotify. Incredible, easy to use, etc.

- Think I broke a toe whooping Mexican *** on the beach. ::rolleyes::

It's a Top 5 all-timer for me. The first few seasons especially are tremendous- comedy with some heart.

How many for Sturgill?
If they aren't gone already, send me a message on the twitter machine.

Reminds me of the other day when my boss told me to be sure and have "all my ducks in the pond".
