I don't care if it was late, Oklahoma is gonna wind up as a two or maybe even a three, and that's fine, but you can keep us the hell away from Buddy Hield as far as I'm concerned. None of the one seeds have anyone that scares me like that dude. I'll take my chances with UNC or Kansas or (pshh.) Villanova before stepping in the ring with that cold-blooded toucher.

There's a reason KU's reg season dominance of the B12 has co-incided with a their decade + long FF drought. The B12 is generally over-rated garbage. So put us with Oklahoma all day. We'll mash. When was the last time in the Cal era we were pissed about a B12 matchup? The Texas team in 2010 that ended up losing to WF? Seriously?

Umm, the SEC was overrated garbage too. You're right to an extent. Nobody else in the Big 12 would really scare me. I think in particular Kansas has zero interest in seeing us again, outside of Lawrence.

But I still have night terrors about Dwyane Wade. Hield isn't Wade, but he's having that kind of year. We can beat anybody, you're right. But whoever puts the dagger in Hield is gonna have to work like hell for it.

?

They won it 2008 and were runner up in 2012. I see you're point, but I mostly think choking is in Kansas' nature. I'm not convinced it has anything to do with the Big 12's weakness. I mean, the SEC is a pile of ****, but we do well in the tournament.

I think he meant F4 outside of KU.

Plus they have a hell of a coach.

Right now, we straight nightmares. Ponders if it is because of **** SEC teams, or we have finally GOT IT. Poor Georgia, they have played the late game, now get to run into a buzz saw and will be playing their 3rd game in 3 days. Checked the weather, not a chance of a Tornado touching it up, and Zac Swansey and Mike Daum are gone. Daum, Georgia about to get murked.

B12 outside of KU, come on. The rest of the B12 SUUUUUUUUCKS, and has for the last 12 years. As bad as the SEC is, it has had F4 caliber teams outside UK. BUt for some reason, everyone touts it as some amazing conference year in and year out, then nobody does squat in the tourney besides KU.

In the last 6 tournaments Oklahoma, Baylor and K State have all made an Elite 8. Throw WVU into the mix and they have 3-4 threats to make the F4 this year.

- Seton Hall is fun to watch. Quck on quick on quick. And some good interior passing to boot. Sliced up X.

- Skal's biggest improvement is his interior D. He's been excellent of late.

- Nice to get big contributions from Hawkins. As much as we're a youth driven program, it's always nice to have a veteran presence. You can tell from his comments all year how much Cal trusts the kid.

- Amazingly, we've become deep. Cal is having trouble finding minutes for our best big a month ago (Willis) and can't find minutes for our best big 2-3 weeks ago in Humphries. Nice problem to have.

- Told you bitches Poythress had a nice, compact stroke. Listen to the :basketball:.

Cool, we upstairs at table across from Legends. Look for a bunch of 40 yos dressed like college kids, and a girl with a big blue fist.

The SEC is complete joke, this is embarrassing basketball. Im amazed that Cal is able to prepare his teams as well as he does playing 18 games vs this pile of dog **** called SEC hoops. My god its bad. Tells you how good Cal is.

I know that the majority of the SEC gives no effs about basketball but there are a few that, given a reason, will show...Ark of course, UT, Florida somewhat, even MSU gave a crap for a while...but I get the feeling that no matter how good A&M gets, those fans won't notice.

I mean, I still think he goes #1. But, if you are a bad NBA team you have to consider the fact that you are drafting a coward who won't play hard if (when) you lose a lot of games.

Top 10-20 roster easy, and they're not even a real team

How embarrassing. Down 40. What #1 pick lets their team lose by 40 to an unranked (or barely) team with the season on the line?

Skeptical of this kid. Beautiful player, but damn

Coach isn't worth mentioning.

Wow, just came back from a run and turned on the LSU game. Wow, there are jr high girls basketball teams that score more than this in a 24-minute game.

It's weird to see the reaction to LSU's performance by so many people not affiliated with the school. Sports writers, broadcasters, fans, other coaches, are understandably angry/upset.

It's one thing to be outclassed/outmatched, but to perform like that? With the season on the line? That thing looked like a pickup game between shirts/skins from the first tv timeout on. And people are understandably pissed.

Hard to know whether Simmons' personality is a reflection of Johnny Jones mis-managing him, or if he's just a *****. Even if it's the latter, I think Cal has proven that he can turn around a player's attitude and turn him into a player that makes "winning plays."

In any event, was angry when we missed out on him. At this point ---> glad he went somewhere else.
