GW Needs a 2027-28 game

[rawacopaea]

George Washington High School in Danville Virginia needs a game for the 2027-28 cycle. We would like to also play JV's. The dates we have available are August 20th, September 17th and September 24th. Prefer a home game in 2027 but anything is negotiable.

Contact head coach Nick Anderson at 252-347-5060if interested.

I know it’s probably impossible but a regular season Salem game would be awesome.

Fun Fact- Salem's JV traveled to Martinsville to play a game against GW in 2022 and tied them 20-20. That game and the war against Botetourt in 19 solidified my love of JV Football.

Make it something ridiculous with some crazy in-state travel involved. I hope an opponent that we would never see George Washington play against steps up and takes the two-game series and give us an extremely oddball matchup that would also benefit both programs. Would be awesome.

They used to play each other back in the early 2000s

I believe a game has been found. It looks like N. Guilford might be the Eagles 27-28 opponent in week 5.

Note that GW drops to 3A next season.
