I think he and Pickens get along a little better, but he's wanted out of Stillwater for a while. Wanted the Nebraska job three years ago.
If UT can get Mike Gundy, I'd be more impressed with that hire than Mullens to Florida. Still doesn't touch Scott Frost to Nebraska. Smokin
He wants a pay raise. Tennessee is so seriously toxic right now with the fans and politicians running the show.
They may have dodged a bullet with Schiano, but with the way it happened, they’d be extremely lucky to get a proven coach to jump ship and go there
Wow, inconceivable we would pass on Patterson for Bo, and Gundy for Riley. The only positive is that now we can hire Frost!
Nebraska's leadership is the one that made this job seem undesirable by hiring stupid candidates in the past.

Why? Mullens has done wonders at Mississippi St. I think people on this board view that as a good job, it's not. The guy got Mississippi St all the way to a number one ranking at one point. That's pretty incredible to be honest.
I'm not taking away what Mullen's has done at MSU, more so what Tennessee did this weekend and possibly able to walk away from that with Mike Gundy, would be more impressive than Florida getting #3.
I heard Mullins was number 4, they went after Tebow but he said he was committed to the Mets.
Pretty good coaching fills all around. Gundy is legit...he would do well at Tennessee.
That hair would seriously play in Knoxville.
