I’d go to both of those if I were there.
Hard to beat those two but there very well could be a great little hole in the wall as well.

If you want to stay around that location, those are your best options. Sometimes the casino steakhouses have a decent fish.

McElroys is next door, but I haven't been in there since before Katrina. Maison de Lu and Phoencia in Ocean Springs have good fish options if you want to cross the bay. 10 min drive.

If you are staying on the east end of biloxi, make the drive into Ocean Springs for Phoenecia. If you're staying at the Beau or Hard Rock, Mary Mahoneys is convenient and good. I've had great fish at Cora's in the white house hotel but it's been a while and I have heard mixed reviews since then. I like Chimney's better than Mary Mahoneys, but not sure if I'd drive for it if I were already in Biloxi unless you just wanted something different. The Blind Tiger also has good fish tacos, (at least in Bay St. Louis; I assume in Biloxi also), so if you are fine with tacos and not a formal dining experience, that's a good option. White Pillars is also really good, but they will likely only have one or at most two fish options, so you probably want to see what they're serving if you go that route. You can also get good fish at the casinos usually. I've had good fish at Magnolia House and 32 and even BR Prime.

Cross the bridge to ocean springs. Go to Phoenicia
Liquor and wine is brown bag so plan ahead

One of the best restaurants in Mississippi and few know about it

I’ve eaten at most of those places. I’m not against driving 20 mins. I made reservations at BR Prime for my backup plan. They’re always good. But I think I’ll follow the recommendation for Phoenicia. Thanks guys.

Phoenicia is very good, I’m a fan.

Gollott’s Fresh Catch is a good option as well. They usually try to keep one or two fresh fish items nightly (had cobia last time I was there) and I think they have the best seafood gumbo of any restaurant in the area. Very casual place on back bay.

Edit: they are closed Mon and Tue.

It's all good - the cajun stuffed snapper is at the top of my list though. Make sure you listen to the specials if they have any. Spinach salad. Most importantly, don't forget your bottle - it's BYOB.

go down I-10, take the first Biloxi exit. hang a right. there is a place not many know about. a famous boat capt in those parts opened up a place and named it after himself. Capt D's. freshest fish i've ever had.

sorry had to be the mole cricket/Dales/injun guy in this thread.

don't waste your time elsewhere. Mary Mahoneys is the ****

Anthony’s in Ocean Springs is another great place to consider if you’re still down here. Great view on the Fort Bayou River and outstanding food. There are good fish choices on the menu and there’s always a couple great fresh fish choices in the specials. All of the others mentioned are great but Anthony’s is one of the most underrated restaurants on the coast.

We ate at McElroy’s when we were down for the baseball games. Great food and service.
