Guard Depth Chart

Now that it seems we have all the guards we plan on signing, how do we think the depth chart works out? My best guess as of now has to be:

PG - Del Jones; Parker; Anderson III; Moore
SG - Sim Wilcher; Anderson III; Parker; Moore

No idea at all on minutes.

I assume none of these players are able to play much at the 3? Or is Sha planning to go small?

Can't see much playing time for Moore at either guard position.

Is this a middle of the pack Big East backcourt or lower?

We’ve seen enough from Sha to know he plays 3 guard lineups religiously with a traditional 3 (Elijah last year and Davis 2 years prior) at the 4. With not knowing who else is coming in, it’s not crazy to think he’d start at 3 guards Del Jones, Wilcher and Anderson and put a wing at the PF spot

Just my opinion, I don’t think Anderson pledges to play here after seeing us sign 2 guards in the portal before him and also retaining Tre Parker if he wasn’t told he would probably be a starter. But I can also see him fulfilling a 6th man role similar to Simpkins. Just my 2 cents

Here's another question then. Given a 3-guard lineup, who is the third starter after Jones and Wilcher? Anderson? Or does Sha reward Parker's "loyalty" for being the Bobby Baccala of Seton Hall (the last man standing).

Yup, good point. I thought about that too. I like Tre and I’m glad he’s back (assuming he doesn’t go into the portal today lol which is the last day to do so I believe). l thought he was a bit underused last year.

My only problem with him starting is he’s really an undersized guard and when going small I’d prefer to have more size in the backcourt although it worked for us last year, Budd was a heck of a defender

I don’t think he’s worried about a depth chart right now. He’s trying to find 7 other players
My point is that these are the guards we're gonna have for next year. You think he's still recruiting guards?

Last time I checked Sha isn't participating on this message board.
