Point by point:

- UT was only "lame" last year...in 2016 UT finished 9-4 (and were close to being 11-2)...so they were above average.
- Yes...in 2015, UT came close to beating Bama with Jones' staff...which changed dramatically after the 2016 season. It also didn't hurt that UT was coming off of a Bye week, while Bama was playing their 8th straight week.
- Butch Jones was a horrible head coach...Derek Dooley was even worse.
- UT has been an SEC whipping boy for a while...that's why UT fans are excited about a change that hopefully, over time, will make UT more competitive.
- Nobody thinks UT is close to being Bama...as said before, UT had very similar results to WVU in 2014 (UT's starting quarterback was lost for the season the game before playing Bama and they still only lost by 4 more points than WVU).
- With WVU's offense could have over 400 yards passing, or over 150 rushing...but I doubt they will have anywhere near both. My guess is they will have pretty good success in the air, and won't push the run game.
