Gridiron club

Does anyone know the price on the gridiron club and is it worth it? Got a young kid I’ll be bringing to some games this year. I’m wondering if the gridiron club might be a good purchase this year.

We're in it. Good food and nice places for a little on to sit when he/she gets bored. Whether it is worth it is relative to your financial situation, to us it is but we're in our 50s and just buy two tickets now. Not being crowded, comfortable seats, no lines, being able to get out of the weather are all important to us. We passively watch the games, we certainly don't try to figure out what play we should run based on the look the other team's D is showing, so the view is fine for us. I always say, if you want to watch the game, the worst place to do it is from inside the stadium.

Food is good, you have a locker you can store liquor and beer and have a set up service- ice, mixer beverages etc and a air conditioning/heat controlled environment with TV’s etc.
View of the game isn’t great unless the action is coming toward the N EZ.
Overall a pretty good spot to be to watch the game, eat, fix a drink and get out of the heat/cold.

I wonder what they are going to do with the food. Aren’t buffets taboo post Covid? I mean food sitting on a table in the middle of a room with hundreds of people around it can’t be good.

They had buffets at the rooftop club at baseball games (or at least during the super)

I think we would use it as a place to take the younger kid to get out of the weather for a little bit. I’m not sure I’d ever go to it once the game started, but I could see if being beneficial for the wife to have a place to take the younger kid.

I believe the passes were $100 per game per person. At least that is about what people asked for them on the 2nd hand market.

My thoughts are, it was a good alternative to tailgating. I used the area a couple times during the 2017 season. Service was good. Food was decent. it was a good place to watch pregame warm ups. I went to my seat to watch the actual game though.

Only negative, they don't keep it open long after the game. Maybe 1 hour after the final horn. So, if it is a 11am game, you have to be there at 9am to take full advantage and you won't be allowed to stay and watch 230pm game.

Good for taking your kid, but like others have said, not the best viewing angle unless they are coming right at you in the NEZ. I think it's maybe $800 or so each this year, plus the cost of a ticket. But there's currently a waiting list.

Last year in the Scoreboard Club they still had the buffet but it was fully staffed, blocked off with sneeze guards and you pointed at or told them what you wanted and they fixed your plate for you. Since there wasn't as many people, it wasn't the zoo that it could have been. It will be interesting to see if they do it again this year with full capacity and how long it will take to move through the line.

Worth it, for me personally its not even close. I've been in it 3 or 4x w/ a friend that buys every year and even when its free its not worth it for me. The view is not good at all (think band walking by, state troopers standing around, tv cameras when a teams about to score, cheerleaders, pom pom squad, photographers, etc, etc) I'm one that wants to watch the game and see how plays develop, etc. On a sweep you can't tell if a runner gets 5 yards or no gain most of the time. The food isn't anything special at all, not bad just nothing special. The drinks are just self serve fountain drinks like a convenience store. As far as the a/c, lockers, your own liquor, multiple tv's, no lines at rest room, etc, well that describes my den at home perfectly. If that's what I wanted I could stay there and have a great view of the game, cook food much better than they have there, have a couple friends over, not have to stock a locker on Friday, save a bunch of money, sleep in my own bed and have a much better experience. But that's just me, everybody has their likes and dislikes...............If I'm going to the game (which I do, I've got season tickets) its to tailgate/socialize and watch most of the game not stand inside around a bunch of people I don't know and try to hear the game on a tv while they are all talking and getting in the way of the tv or live game

That was my experience back when I had access to a box. You just don't feel like part of the game and it's hard to focus on the game when most of the people there are just in it because it is the easiest place to get drunk and eat. Double that problem when the box is used to entertain customers, which is mostly what ours was for.
