So who will be the new coach at Wichita State ?

https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...l-who-would-the-shockers-hire-to-replace-him/

Came across this article at CBS. It mentions John Beilein, Ben Jacobson (Northern Iowa coach), Travis DeCuire (Montana coach) and Kyle Lindsted (Minnesota assistant, was an assistant under Gregg Marshall at Wichita State from 2015-2018). I'm sure they could get the latter three, Beilein sounds like a pipedream. A couple interesting names that I've seen other articles mention are Matt McMahon from Murray State and Wes Miller at UNC-Greensboro.

And to reference a couple comments above about Marshall's wife, she is batsh*t crazy lol

He took them to heights they rarely see , bet there is " other issues" other than the W-L record going on here . Whatever , I hate him , and them , and his drunk nutty wife. And their entire cry baby fan base who disrespected us in every way that year . I hope they go down down down.

Good riddance.

But I pause to note his small place in Kentucky basketball history: 1. Perhaps the greatest NCAA tournament game involving Kentucky of the decade, probably the greatest Round of 32 game involving any teams in history, and not to be forgotten, 2. another very good NCAA tournament game in 2017 which took all that Fox and Bam and Monk could muster to see Kentucky advance.

Thanks for the memories, psycho. And the same to your crazy wife.

Young’s 3 coupled with Bam’s block broke the man.

It's a brutal profession. I was thinking last week when Billy Tubbs died how different his legacy would be if he won one more game: The 1988 championship over a soon-to-be-sanctioned-again Kansas.

Marshall wins those two games against Kentucky instead of losing them, he may be untouchable at WSU. Cal wins two games he easily could have against UConn 2011 and 2014, he's on Rupp's level. And so on.

Kansas should be sanctioned for the next decade.
