Has the news moved the needle in Columbus? Can't access the Buckeye site- what's the reaction over there?

On the scout site, one fan was praying for Schiano. They overall are happy and give him more respect than a Rutger fans.

The Rival free site no postings.

not just co defense coordinator

maybe he take meyers place if he goes to NFL

Meyer isn't going to the NFL because who the hell wants to coach the Cleveland Browns? (Okay, I'm a Bengals fan!) If he ever leaves OSU, my heart is already set on Tom Herman. Greg Schiano will have to find a different job. :)

Titles are very meaningless..especially with 2 assistant head coaches and now an associate.

Just a way to bolster salary.

I have some Buckeye fans in my circle, they're pumped. One said he thinks they dumped Ash on us so they could replace him with Schiano. Think he will be big for NJ recruiting.

I wonder how long this marriage will last? I just don't see it ending well with Greg playing second fiddle, especially at the collegiate level, I don't think that this will end well.

Or it could be the launching pad back to a head coaching job for Schiano. Think about it. Schiano is known for defense. He had incredible success at Miami with top recruits and will now have top recruits again to work with.

And we know just how many coordinators under Meyer become head coaches. It's a great move for him. He lost out on a few top head coaching spots. So, he heads back to defense with a guy he's been friends with and to a team that's contended for the national championship the last few seasons.

He's in a pretty good spot imo.

This sucks. Schiano will recruit NJ like a demon. All you clowns who said his recruiting wasn't that important are about to find out just how wrong you were.
