On Fox Sports radio this morning they were talking about the upcoming Miami vs Wichita State game and mentioned Greg Marshall is being considered for a power conference job, but didn't name the school. Rutgers maybe? His record is insane and he has really built up two programs from scratch. Remember out there he is going up against Kansas and KSU in recruiting and fan motivation. Worth a look IMO. This was on the radio just now, take it for what it is worth.

Not a chance. He has turned down very major high profile programs such as UCLA. Not coming to Rutgers.

Would be great to have him - but .....how? that price tag is a deal breaker - -
Last Spring - Gregg Marshall agreed to remain at Wichita State - received a new seven-year contract worth an average salary of $3.3 million per season

Let's just keep it simple. RU cannot afford Greg Marshall... and it's not close. Texas and Alabama threw more money than God at him and he turned it down.

Greg Marshall is an ELITE coach. What are people smoking to think Rutgers would even be the slightest consideration for him?!

It's probably OK State or Stanford. Why in the world would he ever come here? He beat Kansas last year in the sweet 16. No chance in hell would he ever come here. I love the optimism, but why would anyone even think this is a possibility
