Greg Gumbal with the dis..

[SBP]

...after Jacob Young segment. I’ll paraphrase

“You know why he can have so much fun? He’s talented. Hard to have fun with when you can’t make a free throw.”

Obvious dig at our woeful free throws.

That was uncalled for.. dick move

[G- RUnit]

I’m not sure that was directed at us.

[mdMoose]

Wasn't directed at us at all. He was simply saying it’s easy to have fun when you’re good.

Not so easy to have fun when you can’t even hit a free throw.

[198hamilton]

Greg was extremely complimentary after the Miles piece so cut the dude some slack

What a stretch.

[ClassOf02v.2]

Way too sensitive OP. It was in no way directed at our FT shooting throughout the year.

[RUKen]

That whole segment was great press for RU. Michael Young sporting the block R cap.

[GimmeSomeMore]

It was a dig at Ohio State - who were terrible from the line in their loss. Clark K (buckeye) talked about that and their lack of joy after they lost

it’s why he snapped back

[Knights 1212]

It was not aimed at RU.

[Terry_2426]

Some of you are better than MJ creating slights that don't exist.

[WhichReligionIsRight]

Not about us; Kellogg razzed Gumbal. Great timing by Kellogg.

And a GREAT segment about Pi Slamma Jamma, JY and his dad. To think that Houston team had Hakeem, Clyde and, of course, Michael Young. I just learned that although Young didn't have a stellar NBA career, how many players were part of the Manilla Beer Brewmasters, The Great Taste Coffee Makers and Faber Frabiano? Plus, five different NBA clubs.

[Sweet Pea's Corner]

It was toward Kellogg and Ohio St. Kellogg had a good comeback.

[SBP]

Ah, didn’t see the interplay with him and Kellogg about OSU free throws, sorry. Makes sense now

[RUforester72]

Not directed at us at all.

[RUfromSoCal?]

Greg is a mess........ he makes no sense 57% of the time........

I heard it live as well... i got the sense he was trying to say something... but, it didn't exactly come out right..

but in the end.. he was the one who was the butt of the jokes by the other on-air team about his own inability to make foulshots.... so, he got the shot end of that stick...

call it even and move on........

one segment on MJ one on JY..... this team is getting good pub...

win today and ........... hold on!!!

[Gudenham]

you are so soft lol

[wicker]

I played that comment backwards and it says Sweet 16 hopes are dead
