IIRC, I believe that bests the previous coaches that landed only two 4* players in their transition class.
Also, how could they possibly move a player's ranking UP after he has committed to NEBRASKA? I thought once they commit to us that their ranking only lowers...

To me, the new staff is doing a great job of recruiting, esp in a transition year.
I looked at the hudl film of every running back SF offered, and it's a major difference as to the type of athlete we are going after now.
I'm not only excited but really looking forward to Husker football in 2018.

Definitely a different type of back. After watching a few bowl games this past week, not many teams have the big bruising back. Most teams are running a read-option spread that wants a speed back.
Even when many teams were at 3rd and 1 or 2, they ran (out of the shotgun or pistol) zone read stuff with a small back up the middle. Seems more about trying to fit a small back through a small hole to get the first down rather than a big back to bang his way for a first.
I think JJ Watt was a 0-Star in HS. I welcome this kid, with open arms.
Thousands are "0-star in high school", this JJ Watt stuff is flat out stupid, for many reasons.
All of Wisconsin's 2 and 3 * sure get the job done, too. These * rankings are mostly BS, anyway. Many of these are handed out by guys that think they are real football people, because they score 60pts in a game of xbox football and listen to Todd McShay.
