Sure, but he makes up for it with a ton of entirely misplaced confidence in every thing he says.Shorter story...you are an idiot who has no idea what you are talking about.

There's a thread on "Page 6", maybe, that discusses Lewis' recruitment.
As far as Greenway vs Lewis, there was probably <1% chance Iowa could get both.
And likely, neither were coming cheap.
A person doesn't have to be tight with the staff to see things.
Plus, I DGAF what you think.
This is a fvcking message board and not everyone will agree on everything.
You're merely jumping on the bandwagon because my opinions aren't popular.
When you guys are able to get the complete story on why Greenway shunned Iowa, post it.
Otherwise, everything is just an opinion.
Two years ago. Iowa was her dream destination. Something changed.
Bluder retirement???
Whatever it was, it must have been something really meaningful.
Doubt it was $$$, because the family isn't stressed financially.
Kenny Brooks is 57 years old, Bluder is now 64.
Maybe MG expected Bluder wouldn't be her coach for her entire career and wanted stability?
You're always lost. You lost me at "maybe"
I guess I would think it's obvious on a message board...you know, that people have opinions?Right, just opinions, something you might want to incorporate into your posts, instead of making statements with no validity.

Dumbazz.
You're always lost.
That isn't surprising.
I thought Candace Parker was a lock. She sat a few rows behind me in the student section in Kinnick.Kia Stokes? She seemed like a lock for Iowa. What happened?
Hell, give JJ a lifetime contract if you think she's such a great coach.![]()
You still stand by Jan should be fired and Bluder called and rehired? If we want to talk about lost, early onset demetia ect, I don't think you are the one to talk.
Politically correct response.Maddyn Greenway on choosing Kentucky.
Kenny Brooks and Kentucky have secured their first commitment of the 2026 class.
On Saturday, four-star point guard Maddyn Greenway committed to Kentucky over Stanford, UCLA, Duke, Clemson and Iowa. She talked about her decision with KSR.
It goes without saying, but the Greenway last name has very strong ties to the Iowa Hawkeyes. Both of her parents were star athletes at Iowa, and her father, Chad, went on to have a decade-plus career playing linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings.
Greenway was always fond of Iowa — and she still is — but after following her parents’ footsteps her whole life up until this point, she decided it was time for her to create a legacy of her own elsewhere.
“I’ve been a Hawkeye fan my whole life, with both my parents having gone there,” Greenway told KSR. “Obviously, with my dad, I’ve lived in Minnesota my whole life, and I’ve always been under his shadow, so I just wanted to make my own path.”

LOL - deflect much. I never said give her a lifetime contract. However you made the above comments state them over and over then when called on it with facts . . . say ah nah thats not what I said.Hell, give JJ a lifetime contract if you think she's such a great coach.
But don't complain when Iowa doesn't get past the first weekend.
Exactly what would it take for you to acknowledge Jansen may not be the long term answer for Iowa WBB?LOL - deflect much. I never said give her a lifetime contract. However you made the above comments state them over and over then when called on it with facts . . . say ah nah thats not what I said.
Im still waiting to here the wonderful roster she was left with in 24/25 and that Bluder was never upset once. From my calcs she had Affolter, Stuelke and bench players. They did better than Clarks 1st 2 seasons, fyi did Clark get to the sweet 16 her 2nd year???
During Caitlin Clark's sophomore season (2021–2022), the Iowa Hawkeyes finished with a 24-8 record, largely fueled by her NCAA-leading scoring. The team suffered a major upset in the 2022 NCAA Tournament second round, falling 64-62 to the 10th-seeded Creighton Bluejays as a No. 2 seed. Sound familiar. Fire Bluder get rid of Clark, they are worthless.
Be a bottom 1/2 of the B1G for multiple seasons.Exactly what would it take for you to acknowledge Jansen may not be the long term answer for Iowa WBB?
Be specific.

Can we quit comparing that Creighton team to garbage Virginia team that beat us. It takes away from an otherwise valid post.LOL - deflect much. I never said give her a lifetime contract. Ya, but can't remember when.
Were you born under a rock, move on!it seemed like she was a lock for the hawks. what happened????
It would be interesting to see the take on the season if Iowa had somehow have beaten Virginia and had a competitive next round game.I'm sorry but one sweet 16 in the next two years isn't enough with the money and support Ian is being given. We should be expecting a top 10 program with the momentum and resources she has available. One sweet 16 over her first 4 years is way too low of bar in my opinion. She had a great regular season so I have faith she'll figure out the postseason
The Virginia loss wasn't surprising if anyone watched Iowa barely beat FDU.Can we quit comparing that Creighton team to garbage Virginia team that beat us. It takes away from an otherwise valid post.
Well, people always enjoy a Greenway thread. Only been discussed for 18 months. Two years from now lonely people will be asking why Deal left. This place used to be friendly.
Another new troll! Welcome! So you’re saying a Creighton team from a way lesser conference than UVA who was also a 10 seed was way better than Virginia? I can tell you Virginia if you look up and down that roster and compare it Creighton isn’t even close. Should we have won both those games? Of course. Now go grab a new handle and come back next week. Can we quit comparing that Creighton team to garbage Virginia team that beat us. It takes away from an otherwise valid post.
You've been learned a lesson.sorry, forgive me for asking a question. won't happen again.
Everyone makes mistakes........His daughter thought Kentucky was a better fit
Mmmm.....didn't think she was good enough to play for us, huh?Jenica Lewis was never very interested in playing for Iowa.
