A couple of questions..

What is the breakdown of the great deal? What's new that we didn't have before from 1951 and 1955 treaty?

Did Greenland and/or Denmark sign off on this new deal?

The only thing ive heard was different is what ever land we want will be sovereign land . Don't believe that was in the old treaty. Also heard we control all drilling and mining rights. Shouldn't say "whatever " land we want . Final signing still needs done .
I could be wrong and no I dont know the details. No military force i never thought there would be . I was worried he would use tariffs.

As far as I can tell, nothing has changed.

Saw videos/news from Greenland people protesting by the masses. Majority of their country doesn't like Trump and wants no association with the US. Both, Greenland and Denmark are strongly opposed to USA/Trump.

On the flip side, you are going to lose your mind... In terms of doing 2025 taxes, from a personal beneficiary, my overtime hours got me several 1000s bucks more. That was the only true difference from 2024 vs 2025 in taxes. On that part, let's fist pump him!

I can understand Greenland not wanting military and drilling done . Don't believe they will like the alternative. My understanding is the u.s wont just be able to do what they want in certain areas but will own the land under it and have mineral rights now whereas they didn't.
I hope I get a pile back. Im looking at my 2025 year at hrs and such for retirement. Making sure my numbers are working out to retire at 55 .

I wish I could retire at 55. Early pre-grats to ya! For the last few years, been very progressive with money management for retirement.

A bit side topic here with taxes. If anyone bought a plug in EV from 2025 (before September), they can qualify for up to 7500 bucks back due clean car act.

I'll have the years but will take a beating on pension, 55 is the earliest. Have a decent 401k but probably need two more years to pay house off and supposed to be a couple great years for us welders. If health and work is good I may stay working. I really enjoy my work .
I travel to much for a EV .

Im one of the few in tje world ...I do enjoy a hard day of work . I absolutely hate working jan ,February and some of March cause im a puss in the cold . Heat has never bothered me at all . I enjoying building and working with my hands and I get paid. I l9ve the banter between us especially being from different races and backgrounds. I enjoy working in different places and learning from people.
Ive done pretty good at building a plan for early retirement, 2nd divorce set me back a bit, but still on track . Not sure i actually want to now

I understand the part of traveling and meeting people. Traveled most of the US and Puerto Rico and met and worked with lots of wonderful people! Retired now and I do miss it!

Why do people get married a second/third time? Would there be any difference in the relationship? Seems costly for folks to spend money on setting a marriage and then get penalized with the separation.

Or is this a religious thing?

-----------------------------------------------------

Same with meeting people from other places. In the last two years, I have probably hit about 40 some states due to work. They send me out to the circuit cutovers. Got an upcoming trip next weekend where I start in Delaware, take a ferry to NJ, then PA, Maryland, and VA. Going to take like 9-10 days on this trip.

That’s because you hate Trump and wouldn’t acknowledge the good he’s done if it would save your life. The population of Greenland is 56,000 people. Because of us, it is a country. Trump has been the best president since Kennedy.

Getting married more than once is because we are insane. Not religious. Another one of those things where government needs to mind its business.
Ive traveled mainly east coast ,farthest west was Illinois.

Retire when you can. I retired a little early. Wasn't sure about it because I enjoyed my job. Took about a year to get used to having very few places to be at a certain time, but I'm all into it now. Also, it's a lot easier to day drink. LOL
