I Have respect for them . They stand up for what they believe. They organize & make noise .

No they did not . But all the blm folks destroyed everything they walked by & was called mostly peaceful protest. If a group of Republicans or independents went & destroyed a city because we opposed a death or court case it would be called a insurrection. Yes blm protesters destroyed government buildings.

All a person has to ask is , if your child was molested would you want her handing down the punishment? I've asked 2 Democrats that , they both said no .

If they want to save the earth, they would be over in China protesting the use of ALL coal power plants there that have zero scrubbers. Cities surrounded by several power plants that spew open burnt coal smoke. If that won’t be enough, the pollution being poured directly into the rivers there that city tap water is not fit to drink.

Why would they protest mining at the mines anyway?
If you want to protest Walmart do you protest outside a Samsclub in Iowa or do you protest outside corporate HQ in Arkansas?
The only people you affect protesting at a coal mine are blue collar Joe's looking to feed their families.

Can a person be arrested/prosecuted for their intent and not their actions? Just asking. Interesting argument. For example, if a person "plans" or "intends" to do harm to someone else, but is stopped before they can do it, are they still legally responsible?
Yup. Reminds me of this video where Andrew Breitbart exposed a protest where they shipped people in from Chicago who were paid to protest.
Sure someone can be pre-empted in committing a crime and charged with conspiracy. If you hire someone to commit a crime and they do not follow through you can be charged.
My point is simple. I am not saying these protestors committed a crime. I am saying that depending on what you protest the FBI seems to charge differently and they can create charges. It is sad but just look at the Governor Whitmer "kidnapping" where the charged were exonerated by a jury because the FBI entrapped them into a conspiracy.
