Greatest single run in MSU history?

JJ Johnson had some good ones, but I gotta go with Dak Prescott dribbling a dude off the field against LSU in 2014.

Two that come to mind for me are Boobie's long run against Houston where he dragged a guy or two about 15 yards, and the one where Josh Robinson broke about 67 tackles against Kentucky.

This one is the most memorable to me. Dixon was first touched before the 30 yard line.

Sucks that we lost that game on a blown call though. It wound up costing us a bowl game.

So many great choices! I always go back to the first big MSU run I remembered growing up . . .

#1 Although not my favorite, this will go down in history as probably one of if not The Best MSU moments of all time. I was there and the silence was deafening

Lucky enough to catch all three of these moments live but this Boobie run will always be my favorite.
Dude ran like his hair was on fire. Long live BD.

Question: Did Moorhead retain his position as sideline Hypeman? I sure hope so

My top three have been posted - in no particular order, Dak vs LSU, Dixon vs Houston, Norwood vs Florida. The Robinson run was great too, maybe even deserves more recognition because it was so much effort on his part.

One thing threads like this remind me of is how much I love watching highlights of Norwood. Damn, I wish his career wouldn’t have been wasted on some of our worst teams ever. He’ll always be one of my all time favorites.

Norwood and Boobie are my favorites. They played hard every play. Norwood was so damn fast and it really is a shame we were so terrible when he was here.

Just reminded me how we got hosed by the refs in the U of Houston game. They literally hustled the refs out of the stadium that day. Terrible calls all game. I believe they were CUSA refs.

Watching Norwood in the Sanderson with a basketball was something special as well. Wasn’t the greatest shooter but when you can outrun everyone down court, alls ya need is a layup. Hop was incredible....and flat out nicest dude in the gym. A quiet giant.

Fitz in 2016 vs Texas A&M was really awesome as well. That definitely set that tone of that game. I can't really remember but it had to be like 70 yards.

Nearly knocked myself out in a friend's dorm room when Don Smith broke that run off. We were jumping around, and landed on the end of one of those folding pool lounge chairs. It flipped up and clocked me right in the temple.

Oh yeah, SILVER BRITCHES!

This and Boobie's run against Houston are my top 2.

If I remember right, the ref threw a flag after Dicenzo's run for unsportsmanlike conduct because Dicenzo leaped into the end zone at the end of the run. Pure BS.

Wayne Jones up the middle for a long gain carrying two Vandy DBs on his back. The man was a badman.

Considering opponent, stage, and the run to #1 that it sparked this is my choice too. It also introduced the country to Dak.
