I bad mouthed this team on Sunday so I am owning it… they played a hell of a game so now if they can string a few more wins together we could be a lock in the big dance I would think. Hats off to coach and the players for playing so hard a great team win… now play like this here on out!

Hawks are in even if only win the PSU game over the last 6 games.

Might need to start out in Dayton, but no way does a 10-10/20-11 B1G team (pre-BTT) - with a NET in the high 20s/low 30s, and at least three Q1 wins [2 of those on the road] - get left out.


One more win locks Iowa into the Big Dance, imo. The bubble just isn't strong enough to say otherwise.

Anyone who was paying attention was right there with you. The fire and energy this team depends on has been missing for a while, and losing @ Maryland and getting embarrassed by Purdue, well, it didn't look good. But the Hawkeyes found their second wind last night and willed their way to victory. As Ben said, they set offense back 30 years, but they won, and winning over the #9 team can set Iowa up for a strong enough finish to head into the BIG tourney and NCAA with some confidence, some swagger. Everybody needed that one bad. Thank goodness they got it.

Last night felt like a crossroads type of game for this season. Get beat against last night, especially if it was by a large margin, then it felt like things could start to snowball into a long slide. Team seemed to get back on track, though. Good thing, because the remaining schedule is brutal.

I'll cut the offense a bit of slack for last night. Nebby is #5 nationally in adjusted D, and they weren't giving up a lot of easy looks.

Felt same way. Huge difference between 8-7 losing 3 straight and 9-6 heading to Madison this weekend.

It also big for our seeding. Flashed graphic in game for BTT. Top 4 multi bye and 5-8 get a bye and we are in that category currently. Got wins with teams right below (IU, ucla, usc) which is key. Why OSU game is so big they are in the mix. We need to go 1-1 with our next 2 and take care of business at psu and not repeat Maryland. Get 11 wins and lock for ncaa tourney before our last 2 and playing with house $ for seeding. Plus in BTT get most likely a game for another Q1 W if finish in top 8.

Michigan is a juggernaut. They embarrassed Purdue at Purdue last night. If we could stay within 10 of Michigan it would be a win. Last night was very important for us to get a win.

I like our chances. Beat Wisconsin, Ohio State and Penn State, that will get a decent seed.

If we beat Nowledge U in the Corn Palace the Hawks will be flying into the NCAAs.

Quad 1 win over a Top-10 team. I think 1 more win gets them in, but would like to see more to remove any doubt.
