I know people hate hearing this regarding weather forecasts for things like this, but it's still way too eary to tell. The latest GFS has it riding along the LA coast Saturday evening into Sunday. Current Euro has it skirting the LA coast a little further south and only making a glancing blow before going into TX around midnight Tuesday morning. Some of the spaghetti models, however, are turning it into LA. When they have just formed like this and so weak it's hard to tell what they are going to do. They can just drift around like a stoner looking for a burrito without much direction until something finally comes along and picks them up. There's just still too many uncertainties. If I had any plans or interests from Houton to NOLA late this week into early next week I would be keeping an eye on this. Water temps in the Gulf are starting to warm up and there is some opportunity for at least modest strengthening where ever it decides to eventually go.

Murder hornets is a big nothing. They're not really more dangerous than what we already have. And only one colony in British Columbia that was quickly exterminated.

Check that Lettuce I’m in the panhandle and the forecast is showing pretty solid chances of rain chances starting tomorrow and wind will be up. I guess it’s top heavy storm.
