Everyone criticizing this team and this game needs to remember that nothing with this game is normal. We see it every year. Iowa State is nowhere near as good as they played last night, and Iowa is much better than they played last night, that is my opinion based off of 40 years of watching this happen. Iowa State ALWAYS plays out of their minds in this game.

Playing through a tight game against a P4 rival is going to be more valuable to this team than a 3TD blowout.

The only things I'm seeing criticized on this board is the play-calling to a certain degree and the refereeing - which is justified.

2 games in and this is about how I expected it to go.

Offensively our guys will keep improving and hopefully Kirk will allow Lester to open it up a bit more, especially next week.

The DL is still my biggest worry - zero QB pressure.

Have to agree with that and he needs to play next week… I don’t want to see Heck in the portal at the end of the season as he needs his shots too
